I love the idea of a full-size Ipsy box. I think it’s good for Boxycharm to have a little competition. I haven’t loved my last four or five Boxycharm boxes. Maybe this is just the incentive they need to step up their game.
That is definitely a great point! I don't think Boxycharm has had any really competition up until now, so it will interesting to see if they step it up!
Andréa Matillano Glossybox is probably the closest competition before this, but the brands Glossybox gets definitely aren’t as good as Boxycharm or ipsy. I might actually look into this! I cancelled my regular ipsy like a year ago because I kept getting the same shade of lipstick I reviewed negatively over and over but this looks promising!

I had it long time ago and had to cancel as I wasn’t impressed PR box was so much better with Sunday Riley and Sol del Janeiro products I got purlisse mask before in Ipsy bag and it’s amazing
Hey Kim! My go to liner for years has been the Wet n Wild. I have no problems with it, plus it's like $3. Has a nice tiny brush so you can make the smallest thin line or a thicker line. I just can't get use to the felt (especially) pens. ☺

I've only gotten 2 ipsys but I got a morphe highlighter (too dark tho) and that same purlisse mask so it's definitely kind of a repeat but the mask is nice when you're feeling oily or to almost like spot treat acne
I think that I am willing to try this, though I love my BoxyCharm. I really didn't care for the sample version of Ipsy, because I would get all anti-aging stuff for skincare... This seems good though.

3 boxes caught my eye... allure, Ipsy plus and Boxycharm. I love getting Boxy, but I’ve had more favorites that I’ve discovered from Sephora Play. So I don’t know what to think of it. I love the items in the allure boxes and Ipsy plus has my attention. But nothing really wows me these days I guess. I’d prefer like an eyeshadow singles subscription or a lip subscription, so I can choose how to build my own collection. I have too many mascaras and not enough shadows, lip glosses, lip stains etc.
Wow if this is how Ipsy glam plus is gonna be consistently then I’m not going to contemplate switching from boxycharm. My boxycharm has been so disappointing the last few months when I have always loved them and kept them over any other subscriptions. This was great!
I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on it the next few months and may switch over from boxycharm. I really like boxycharm usually (except that really colorful month that had the Laura Lee palette) but I don’t need a new eyeshadow palette every month and that seems to be a trend that’s not going away.

The Purlisse product, I know I recieved that same one, as a sample in my ipsy bag a few months or so ago. It's a great mask, you might have gotten one too in your bag. I also feel ya and being better with face masks and doing more of them or adding it into my routine. First time watcher and liking your video and will be subscribing to your channel. Thank you for going thru the ipsy plus box because I really was on the fence andd now I can't wait to sign up for it.

I got the glambag plus before I knew we wouldn’t be getting the same products as the influencers, so I was pretty mad when I saw the spoilers for my bag! I’ll have to wait and see what we get in November before I make my decision, the regular Ipsy bags are getting a lot of good brands so I may stick with that....,

I cancelled my Ipsy last month knowing this was going to happen. But I have Boxycharm which is similar enough so I’m only allowing myself one subscription. Although Ipsy is still a company I would definitely support.
I recieved my Ipsy Glam Bag Plus yesterday and I am excited as well. It is really a good bang for your buck! I am excited to also see what they do in the future. I'm also excited for the skincare products! :)
I received a mini sample of that mask and it burned my skin within seconds of application, I have never had super sensitive skin so I’d just be careful, I may have gotten a bad batch but that was my experience
I cancelled my October boxycharm subscription, the pur cosmetics palette turned me off the only thing really worth it would’ve been the kvd liquid lip because I haven’t tried them before but if the ipsy plus box is gonna be better than boxy I might not renew 🤔
So far I’ve seen 2 different people love this box, so I’m going to watch a few more reviews and see how the box is and I’m probably am gonna upgrade to it.. we’ll seeee👀
@@clarybunge2473 there was an upgrade option in my account membership one day when I randomly checked. I saw it and immediately signed up and was put on a waitlist. Like 2ish weeks later I was off the waitlist and now receiving the Ipsy plus. I did not get an invite email like I've heard most people got.
Eyeco liners are my favorite. I tried the Nyx Epic liner and it randomly dumps ink and bleeds all over my eyelook. I quit ipsy a few months ago. I think I will just wait and see how this deluxe box goes.

This entire launch pissed me off. I've been a member since their 3rd bag and haven't received an invite to join. I emailed customer service a few times asking to be placed on the wait list and asking why those of us who've been loyal customers since the beginning weren't among the first to be invited... They basically said, on 09/12, that they would be rolling it out within the next few months and the rest of us would get invited as it went.... Still never got an invite. I go on the site today and find out I can now join the wait list, but I don't understand why I didn't get an invite. Annoying. 😡
I didnt even get offered that.i didnt get to choose anything. I dont recieve shipment confirmations. It just shows up when it shows up. Not that im mad about it. They havent been where you cant wait to get them. Im canceling after this month and joining ipsy again and waiting to upgrade to ipsy plus. Im over it!

I went to sign up for the Ipsy plus box and they basically make you sign up for the regular Ipsy bag and put you on the waitlist for the box. There’s no way to sign up just to be on the box waitlist... for me, I cancelled my Ipsy bag last year because it wasn’t worth it to me. I don’t like that they force you to sign up for it again to get this. So I’m just going to wait until they open the waitlist. Until then I’ll be sticking to BoxyCharm. 🤷🏾♀️

I wonder if the box was only super good because it was the first one to get you hooked? Ive tried Ipsy in the past and the small samples just collect and seem to clutter my space more than full size products do. I currently only do Boxycharm and love it... but... this is going to be interesting. This months Boxycharm was really good though so... I hope they both step it up from the competition! I think ill just stick with boxyccharm since its a lot of products otherwise haha. More than I really need.

How do you compare the new ipsy vs boxycharm? I had boxycharm for the longest time, but had to cancel it a few months back because it was becoming very repetitive, even though I was splitting the box with me teenage daughter we just got overwhelmed with the eye shadow or face palletes.
I love your videos. Love your feedback you give. I kind of think Ipsy glam bag plus is trying to hard to be like boxycharm. The way they packaged it and included a card description of the products literally reminded me of boxycharm.
I'm sticking with my regular subscription. I don't want to get full size products that I may not be able to use. I have very sensitive skin so any skincare products wouldn't work.

Anne Rice It is open to regular subscribers. I got on the waitlist right away and was taken off pretty quickly. My first box is the October box. It has not shipped yet, not sure why, but I am getting one. Sorry that every one is not getting the same treatment. I know it is frustrating.
I have been an ipsy subscriber for YEARS, and had to find out about the plus program by stumbling on it through TH-cam reviews. When I looked into my account there was nowhere to access the waitlist, so I emailed customer service and received a reply stating that "more spots will open every month," but there were no details about when. I am confused as to how people are being offered the waitlist... is it based on seniority? Randomly? I am disappointed that there hadn't been a heads up for ipsy customers and it doesn't appear that there is any effort to serve their loyal subscribers first. It would be great to get some definitive answers!
ok guys, now I remember. After I heard about ipsy plus and I couldn't find anything on the ipsy site, I Googled it. On the My Subscription Addiction Website, there was a link to a google form that allowed early access to the waitlist. That is how I got through. Unfortunately, I just went back and checked and the form is now closed. So sorry you guys didn't get through. That being said, mine has not shipped yet . It has been stuck in order fulfillment for a week now. I may not ever actually get it!
The glitter palette looks SO awesome! And agreed about being glad it’s not another neutral warm palette lmao. And that is my FAVOURITE mask! Whenever my skin is starting to get real messed up it just exfoliates and smoothes and soothes it, it’s so good. I wish I could get this but it’s not available in Canada :(

K I am u happy that I cant log into my ipsy account and there is no email for pw reset plus no customer service line! All I wanted to do is change my delivery address but now I think I'm changing my subscription that is more customer service friendly.

That cover shot palette is so pretty. I have been wanting to try one of these but there is always something else I want more.
Morphe is amazing. I love their setting spray. The 39a palette is my absolute favorite.

Wow if this is how Ipsy glam plus is gonna be consistently then I’m not going to contemplate switching from boxycharm. My boxycharm has been so disappointing the last few months when I have always loved them and kept them over any other subscriptions. This was great!
I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on it the next few months and may switch over from boxycharm. I really like boxycharm usually (except that really colorful month that had the Laura Lee palette) but I don’t need a new eyeshadow palette every month and that seems to be a trend that’s not going away.

The Purlisse product, I know I recieved that same one, as a sample in my ipsy bag a few months or so ago. It's a great mask, you might have gotten one too in your bag. I also feel ya and being better with face masks and doing more of them or adding it into my routine. First time watcher and liking your video and will be subscribing to your channel. Thank you for going thru the ipsy plus box because I really was on the fence andd now I can't wait to sign up for it.

I got the glambag plus before I knew we wouldn’t be getting the same products as the influencers, so I was pretty mad when I saw the spoilers for my bag! I’ll have to wait and see what we get in November before I make my decision, the regular Ipsy bags are getting a lot of good brands so I may stick with that....,

I cancelled my Ipsy last month knowing this was going to happen. But I have Boxycharm which is similar enough so I’m only allowing myself one subscription. Although Ipsy is still a company I would definitely support.

I recieved my Ipsy Glam Bag Plus yesterday and I am excited as well. It is really a good bang for your buck! I am excited to also see what they do in the future. I'm also excited for the skincare products! :)
I received a mini sample of that mask and it burned my skin within seconds of application, I have never had super sensitive skin so I’d just be careful, I may have gotten a bad batch but that was my experience
I cancelled my October boxycharm subscription, the pur cosmetics palette turned me off the only thing really worth it would’ve been the kvd liquid lip because I haven’t tried them before but if the ipsy plus box is gonna be better than boxy I might not renew 🤔
So far I’ve seen 2 different people love this box, so I’m going to watch a few more reviews and see how the box is and I’m probably am gonna upgrade to it.. we’ll seeee👀

@@clarybunge2473 there was an upgrade option in my account membership one day when I randomly checked. I saw it and immediately signed up and was put on a waitlist. Like 2ish weeks later I was off the waitlist and now receiving the Ipsy plus. I did not get an invite email like I've heard most people got.
Eyeco liners are my favorite. I tried the Nyx Epic liner and it randomly dumps ink and bleeds all over my eyelook. I quit ipsy a few months ago. I think I will just wait and see how this deluxe box goes.

2 of these products are full sizes of past samples we have gotten in normal ipsy! I guess maybe if you've had ipsy for a long time you are going to have already tried the things they send in ipsy plus? I don't know :P
This entire launch pissed me off. I've been a member since their 3rd bag and haven't received an invite to join. I emailed customer service a few times asking to be placed on the wait list and asking why those of us who've been loyal customers since the beginning weren't among the first to be invited... They basically said, on 09/12, that they would be rolling it out within the next few months and the rest of us would get invited as it went.... Still never got an invite. I go on the site today and find out I can now join the wait list, but I don't understand why I didn't get an invite. Annoying. 😡
I didnt even get offered that.i didnt get to choose anything. I dont recieve shipment confirmations. It just shows up when it shows up. Not that im mad about it. They havent been where you cant wait to get them. Im canceling after this month and joining ipsy again and waiting to upgrade to ipsy plus. Im over it!

I went to sign up for the Ipsy plus box and they basically make you sign up for the regular Ipsy bag and put you on the waitlist for the box. There’s no way to sign up just to be on the box waitlist... for me, I cancelled my Ipsy bag last year because it wasn’t worth it to me. I don’t like that they force you to sign up for it again to get this. So I’m just going to wait until they open the waitlist. Until then I’ll be sticking to BoxyCharm. 🤷🏾♀️

I wonder if the box was only super good because it was the first one to get you hooked? Ive tried Ipsy in the past and the small samples just collect and seem to clutter my space more than full size products do. I currently only do Boxycharm and love it... but... this is going to be interesting. This months Boxycharm was really good though so... I hope they both step it up from the competition! I think ill just stick with boxyccharm since its a lot of products otherwise haha. More than I really need.
I am actually ready for ipsy to stop playing games when it comes to the Glam Bag Plus. Ipsy needs to go ahead and let the ones with memberships sign up to be on the waiting list.

How do you compare the new ipsy vs boxycharm? I had boxycharm for the longest time, but had to cancel it a few months back because it was becoming very repetitive, even though I was splitting the box with me teenage daughter we just got overwhelmed with the eye shadow or face palletes.

i love my boxycharm boxes i’ve only had it since june but this month i’m not that excited i’m really only wanting that iconic london spray bc i heard a lot of people raving abt it, also does anyone know if ipsy plus is monthly or is it like boxy luxe ?
I have tried everything, even contacting Ipsy. They didn’t have any idea how i could sign up to even be on the waitlist. Seriously, this is so incredibly disorganized. I do not know anyone who has had an opportunity to sign up. It’s only beauty TH-camrs I guess. Really disappointing.

Anne Rice It is open to regular subscribers. I got on the waitlist right away and was taken off pretty quickly. My first box is the October box. It has not shipped yet, not sure why, but I am getting one. Sorry that every one is not getting the same treatment. I know it is frustrating.

I have been an ipsy subscriber for YEARS, and had to find out about the plus program by stumbling on it through TH-cam reviews. When I looked into my account there was nowhere to access the waitlist, so I emailed customer service and received a reply stating that "more spots will open every month," but there were no details about when. I am confused as to how people are being offered the waitlist... is it based on seniority? Randomly? I am disappointed that there hadn't been a heads up for ipsy customers and it doesn't appear that there is any effort to serve their loyal subscribers first. It would be great to get some definitive answers!
ok guys, now I remember. After I heard about ipsy plus and I couldn't find anything on the ipsy site, I Googled it. On the My Subscription Addiction Website, there was a link to a google form that allowed early access to the waitlist. That is how I got through. Unfortunately, I just went back and checked and the form is now closed. So sorry you guys didn't get through. That being said, mine has not shipped yet . It has been stuck in order fulfillment for a week now. I may not ever actually get it!

The glitter palette looks SO awesome! And agreed about being glad it’s not another neutral warm palette lmao. And that is my FAVOURITE mask! Whenever my skin is starting to get real messed up it just exfoliates and smoothes and soothes it, it’s so good.

K I am u happy that I cant log into my ipsy account and there is no email for pw reset plus no customer service line! All I wanted to do is change my delivery address but now I think I'm changing my subscription that is more customer service friendly.
That's really frustrating! I would recommend emailing them or reaching out on social media if you can't seem to get ahold of them. I hope you can get it touch!
