    Brother this build is a tank.
    Where are the Arrma Parts 😱😂🤣
    I hear ya man, most of my rigs are full beefcake as well and the confidence it inspires is tremendous.
    You made some GREAT choices here brother and she is sure to take a Pounding.
    Good you added the bash bar with the EXB chassis as the only other option is a M2C Chassis, if you sending it it is possible you would have bent the chassis eventually.
    If you could add anything, I would say the M2C rear Chassis Brace is one of my favorite upgrades, and you mentioned the M2C Bladderless ZRS Shock System... Those are amazing... If you do that you WON'T need to thicken up the fluid because thicker fluid with ZRS is counter productive.....even with the weight your running.
    Great job with the video, lighting, and perfect walk through one take was perfect... Man I gotta edit my stuff because my brain takes a crap or my head is thinking faster than my lips 😱😂🤣😜

    • @TTRC
      @TTRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@just719 I don't use GPS as I'm alright with how fast it goes already, but I would think you should be getting over 65mph with a max6 and 20 tooth. Is you gear mesh set properly? Is there anything slowing it down like an over shimmed diff? Try taking the motor out and giving it a push. If everything is free and running properly then the truck should roll freely. Otherwise I'm not sure. But there have been a few speed runs on TH-cam with a kraton exb and max6 combo. 19 tooth is about 64mph, 20 tooth was 68mph and 21 tooth going over 70mph. It should blow an e-revo away with that motor. I hope this helps. 👍

      Sorry, yeah I reckon it's better. I knew I would have to beef it up a bit as the Max6 combo is quite big. The vitavon bulkheads were needed as a lot of people were blowing the diffs and I reckon it is because there is a bit of flex in the plastic ones. Hot racing hubs as folk were breaking the front ones and the RadicalRCUK bash bar because of the weight. It's about 17lbs all in withe the batteries. The best mod is free and it was strengthening the battery tray. Look up Bournemouth RC for this. It only needs 2 captive nuts and 2 10mm bolts but it stops your batteries and radio gear being torn out with a bad landing. 👍

      You should be fine without the fans. It's a big motor so it doesn't need to work as hard. If you want to get hot racing parts quickly then type the part number into ebay or amazon. Don’t get it from the States. Buy it from Europe, China or Hong Kong and you will probably get them within a few days. As for the keeping the front end down bit, it's just the nature of truck due to the power. 20t pinion is pretty much spot on for a max6 combo. You can alter the punch settings on the ESC and your transmitter may also be able to deliver the power in a more progressive manner. 👍👍👍

    Hello Tony, what motor Heatsink mount are you using

    • @TTRC
      @TTRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a kit from "Yeah Racing ". It is the same as one that "Power Hobby " also do. It is supposed to be for a 42mm motor, but it is really easy to bend it out a little to fit the 49mm can. If you are doing this then fit the fans to the heatsink before bending the heatsink to fit the larger motor.

    I'm very curious as to how you set up your suspension and side height ... could you explain it to me please

    • @TTRC
      @TTRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Buddy. There is quite a bit to it. On that truck I used heavier springs, thicker shock oil, M2C shock upgrade kit. I set the droop screws first to stop the swing arms dropping too far. Then wind up the tension on the springs enough to hold the truck up. The correct tension on the springs should allow a small drop in the suspension. If the springs are too tight then the truck will bounce and lose traction. I have an updated video on my channel for that truck and I speak about the suspension set up. Hope this helps. 👍

    The aluminum wheel hubs are reducing the play/wooble of wheels?

    • @TTRC

      The "hot racing" hub carriers reduce a bit of wobble, especially if you shim them but the proline aluminium centre hubs that I am still awaiting are to replace the plastic 17mm hexes on the proline wheels.

    See this is my problem with Arrma. You spend a boat load of cash on them (especially the EXB’s) and then you have to break them down and go through everything because the the engineering is shotty.
    Why the hell should we have to break down the diffs and apply more grease or shims??
    Why can’t I just expect them to be build correctly??
    I’ll hold onto my money and if they ever get their shit together then I’ll start investing it into Arrma.
    Thank you for at least doing this video.

    • @TTRC
      @TTRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      To be fair, a lot of these cars are like this. The design is very good, but the build quality is not so hot. They all compete with each other for best product and also lowest price. The Arrma Kraton is a great design but it needs work if you want to thrash it. The EXB is a new design and this was an early model so I was expecting some issues. It does do 70mph and can land safely from 30 feet. The only other truck that competes is the X maxx and it also needs work. I hope you liked the video and thanks for watching and commenting. 👍

      I am really happy with my Talion EXB RTR, I have torn it apart and rebuilt everything and fully upgraded to M2C racing and it's a thing of beauty. Price of the car is just the beginning, if you can't handle that, this toy ain't for you. Batteries and tires are probably the most expensive part, and that has nothing to do with the brand. I spent a fortune getting my Savage X SS to the level of performance of the Talion EXB stock rtr.

      Diff oils - 30k rear, 60k front and 500k centre,
      Shoe goo and drywall tape for the body,
      Hope this helps. It runs really well but I am just about to upgrade even further with a titanium chassis, top plate, ackerman and outer driveshafts, M2C front and rear braces, rear tower support and shock upgrade. 👍

    • @TTRC
      @TTRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 8s parts are for the 1/5 scale and won't fit on the 6s 1/8 scale. Some people have fitted a 8s motor and ESC to the 1/8 scale but it really isn't needed. It just becomes uncontrollable. If you fit a hobbywing max6 combo with a 21 tooth pinion then you should be getting around 65 - 70mph on the 1/8 scale with 6s batteries. This is more than fast enough and will have enough power to do standing backflips.
      Scortched parts are easy to deal with and they ship overseas. Where are you from?
