Less tourists equals better service and less traffic.
I prefer low season ,i do not want to be surrounded by loads of 2 week millionaires thinking they are super studs and generaly being mouthy and hot heated often.

I went to Las Vagas beer garden last friday. It was very very busy...with men with about 10 women in the whole building. I was thinking, why would you sit in Pattaya in a bar full of men and no women? Weird.

250/300 baht to the shop for one hour oil massage. Tip up to you and depending on services received. 100/200 OK if no hanky panky . I think 700 is reasonable for a happy ending. I'm told 2,000 gets you the full monty.

If you are just looking for girls in Thailand, then anytime of the year is good. However, if you want to see all those incredible islands, then it's high season. Pattaya is the best place in the world for a long weekend, close to BKK. Cannot go wrong 🥂

For me and have been in high and low season rather enjoy the low season as most hotel rooms are cheaper, less crowds. The only negative is on some smaller island you will find some shops, bars closed is it not a major drama. The plus is you have greater choices with the girls so it is in your favour with less competition and you will find you get more attention from the girls for your business.
You can have cheeseburger & chips twice and it’s still cheaper than a lady drink, Pattaya is turning more into a rip off joint.

I agree.... my first time in Pattaya for songkran, I flew out on the 15th of April I hated it with being drowned with freezing cold water It is definitely not for me, especially when they are supposed to stop at 6 o'clock I was getting drowned at 12 o'clock at night, the Gogo girls were going to work hair done makeup on and the Farang idiots still attacked them I really felt sorry for them, tempers were rising with these idiots I even seen someone kicking shit out of the Farang idiots and the police came and arrested the wrong people in my opinion. I wasted 2 days of my holiday in my hotel room because of these morons, never again will I be in Pattaya for songkran no wonder the ex pats leave Pattaya it's fecking awful.

The scooters are often on the sidewalks, if there are any ..very rare to have something snatched in pattaya, if it happens its usually gold from a stupid tourist .
As I have been many times I’m aware of the roads and pavement situation thanks, as for snatching it goes on there like every other city in the world

They happy to put your bank balances/savings on life support Its the low season now. so tif you clever you visit Pattaya now if you have cash as girls supply exceeds demand as we go into the European summer, Bars make their most money in oeriod Jan to Mar and that finances the remaining 9 months of the year generally. Always people in patrtaya and more important if you a mongerer you should visit in wuropean summer where the deals with girls are better as bioth they and bars are skint.

Sterling is fine to exchange at TT Exchange. It’s best to bring notes you have withdrawn from an ATM . no writing , marks on them . They won’t accept them
Just spent 2 weeks in Pattaya center, definitely not many farangs in the bars but definitely plenty of local talent around ❤ Pattaya for me (and all of Thailand) is a year round destination 🎉

After traveling so many times myself to Pattaya I really believe that low season is definitely more fun. Lots and lots hungry women demanding your attention plus more competitive prices in general. The British Pound is doing great 👍 so that is always a bonus. Hopefully the hot weather will cooler down a bit just in time for my next trip to Pattaya in about 8 weeks. Eddy be careful when you walking and talking at the same time. Even when the town is quiet the traffic still crazy busy. Take care 👍

Agree 100%. I lived in Jomtien for 1 and a half years around 2017-18 and from my experience, it was about 50-60% as busy in the low season as it is in the peak season. That's still a lot of people out and about, and in the bars. They also tend to congregate in certain areas and don't spread out as much as in the high season.

It's all to do with the excessive heat. It's nice to feel cool with some cold water when it's hot. There are also plenty of girls in wet clothes dancing around, which is the icing on top.

I am about to have 3 weeks away, and I am booked to Portugal (Algarve) . The flight and accomodation will cost me about £1400 for a nice place, plus spending. I could have had 3 or 4 weeks in Pattaya for about the same plus 'expenses'. It's just the heat & humidity. In the video it is sunny, but in 2014 I had 3 weeks in Pattaya in late May/early June and hardly saw the sun at all. It really depends what you want. If you want to experience 'Pattaya', and are not worried about the weather (you will never be cold... that is never an issue...) then off season is cheaper and quieter, but still plenty going on.

The issue of low season is there isn't really anything else to do other than drink in bars. Most of beaches aren't cleaned, Ko Larn same thing. When rain season picks up there will be floods there. There is more to life than drinking in bars all day and buying crazy expensive 'lady' drinks for girls who have no visual interest in you

Never mind the begrudgers Eddy lad. Pattaya is good anytime! The exchange rate with the £ and € is great! Weather looks great too. i believe it's cooled down a bit from 40c to around 34-5c, is that right Ed? Nick Dean highlighted that Las Vegas venue during it's building and spoke with the English bloke who owns it.

Having just returned from Pattaya, This week, I did notice the difference from high/low season in terms of tourist numbers.. what was also noticeable the Drink Queens were in full force. I certainly noticed a difference in atmosphere in the bars as there were very few and far between tourists, LV beer garden is an exception to the rule and doing really well. I prefer going in November as there seems to be more tourist better atmosphere and the girls make more money and tend to be less ruthless!!
I had a blast in Pattaya in low season. Barely noticed a difference. Some prices went down. I'm talking about last year, 2023.

Low season is my high season! Cheaper flights, cheaper hotels, lots of available company, not rainy season. Hell, even if the options were at 10% of high season, that would be more than enough for me! Why pay high season premium? Even on the lowest of seasons, the place is still packed. However, for me, Songkran is the one time that I would never visit Pattaya, or Thailand in general!

Thanks for the video, absolutely but not the entire Pattaya, the only thing not worth visiting are WS & LK Metro due to the amount of barfines in gogo clubs which is B3K plus LDs is B300. Even in Treetown & Soi Myth night, their barfines is at least B1500 in the beer bars only.

The answer is yes if you are visiting during their prohibition holidays. One time I took the whole day off travel with flights and the taxi from Bangkok. I got to the place I was staying and lk was pitch black. All I wanted was a couple of beers after a whole day of travel. Luckily the place I was staying allowed me to sneak a couple of beers back to the room but I would’ve rather drank at the bar.

Guys who go to Pattaya in December and January for a few weeks holiday must be mad. Apart from the cooler weather, low season has so many advantages.
Because almost all my friends live in Thailand it's pretty irrelevant if it's tourist season or not.the advantage is i can get into the hotel I want And it's easier in hua hin to get a seat in the food court.

Totally. Don't think economics is his strong suit, seems like he missed the part where we had 3 prime ministers in 12 months and 4 chancellors, one of whom couldn't outlast a lettuce but managed to drive the pound down to just above parity with the USD. It had nothing to do with the baht per se

Thailand seems a lot cheaper than even places like Benidorm BUT with great weather in Europe in Summer and much cheaper and shorter flights I dont really see the point in going so far if only for 2 weeks for instance.
