I know I'm not alone when I say this, but if you wanted to low-effort your way through a video every once in a while and backroads cruise/get distracted every 15 seconds by something cool, I'd still watch it. Branded content pays the bills, project stuff generates new interest and satisfies progression, but if you need a break just take a chill motovlog day like this one that's an easier workload in terms of planning and editing so the long term stuff can be focused on after. Pick something cool in your area to cruise to and just talk about upcoming stuff, vent about things, ThoughtsOfBurch, etc. The right subs will watch anyway. It's impossible for a content creator to make banger video after banger video and I think the pursuit of that goal burns a lot of creators out. Just my .02 on all that but I think you're doing a killer job regardless of how it feels on your end. 👍

Completely agree with this. My favorite is when the audio fails or the GoPro freeze’s lol. It’s hard to explain the time and frustration without sounding negative. It’s just part of the process. It happens… just let it roll off you back and Keep up the great work brother.

So aggravating, but I guess it's part of the process. I have the issue when editing that I see something I want to change or fix then forget about it when I come back to it or it gets posted and the video goes live and I just happen to see it, and am like CRAP dude I meant to fix that... So much truth in this video! Granted, I only put about 2-3 hours on average into my videos, but I get it man, I get it. You definitely put a ton of work into yours, and it shows. The back end stuff is what'll really get ya - sapping your time like a Hoover on steroids - but it's working for you, so keep at it :D PS: The personality stuff has to have a presence in videos - I've experienced it myself, and seen other TH-camrs talk about it - so I think there's some truth there.

People definitely don't realize how much goes into producing content regularly. I had to scrap a video the other week because I realized I didn't have all the parts I needed. That week in particular I went up to an Adventure Rally in NH, so I had zero time to get another video together. But keep at it for sure! Striving for better content and to produce something you're proud of is HUGE. Also, my GoPro drives me insane. I have constant issues with the 10 and it's ridiculous. Greetings from like an hour or so south in NoVA btw!
@@LifeOfBurch For the first 2½ years, I put out a video every Saturday, but I've started taking time off. I skipped two Saturdays during Christmas, and this summer, I took all of July off. It was great because you get to think about your content in a different non-stressed way (while you're ridin' ofc) and can come back recharged. Over the summer, my income did drop to half though.
Hey Burch got a question for you. Im looking to hopefully get my first bike next spring. Ive loved the design of the rebels for years and definitely want to get a 1100 after seeing your video on it being a good or bad beginner bike. I want it as a ride around town bike or maybe take it on at most a 1 hour long drive once in awhile kind of bike. However im worried about if i would be too big for the bike. Im 5’10 about 170 i have only been able to sit on one once but not ride it they are hard to find around here. What are your thoughts?

I've seen a bunch of behind the scenes videos of creators that have moved to the next level. It seems that the guys starting out or not growing have not outsourced editing yet, either locally or in house. You're doing a great job and I think once you are able to take editing off your plate and get a manager to help with brand comms you will really grow. Keep at it man!

The channels I watch on a regular basis are moto-vlogs. Riding and sharing keeps people coming back. The other stuff helps your channel grow. Find a balance that suits you and it will work out.

I had the silencer to test out, but ended up not keeping it in. I’m 99% sure you want the riveted version, but it’s been so long that I can’t say for sure. I’d double check with TBR unless you trust my 99% 😂

I think a great video idea 💡 of your channel would be an up close video of just your motorcycle where you show all you can of it up close. I love the Rebel 1100 and would love to see all of the parts upclose and personal. Just hover to all parts of the bike so we can see the detail of it. See the brakes, wheels, engine, clutch, buttons, headlight, fenders etc. I want to get a feel of it on video. Also to know where the key is. Can you lock the front wheel? Is there any security on the bike etc. It could be a short video but for those of us who like this bike it would be neat to see it in more detail. Thanks 👍
Do you do any backlogs? Record maybe 3-5 videos, then edit them, and use the Schedule an Upload feature that TH-cam has at all? To grind out videos for a solid week and then have a buffer of videos so you can take the following weak a bit more chill? (And rinse and repeat)

Hey man, just to help with the whole idea and something that could be quick and easy to edit. I'm about to move to an apartment complex and won't have somewhere covered to store my bike. I saw you cover your bike and half-ass searched through your channel for a video explaining your anti-theft protection measures and the covers you use. Affiliate links might be pretty helpful and you should really just shoot it all in like 5 shots like the install videos. Just an idea man! I miss the Annapolis area so I come round these parts to remember it.

I went to get a glass of water, and considering I had been drinking out of the glass, so I knew there no ants in it on my way to the kitchen. As you may have guessed, ants in my glass with the water. So, yeah, pick up the water bottle off of the cooler, and yeah, that's where they were hanging out. Let's just say that was outside by the dumpster shortly thereafter.

I think a great video idea 💡 of your channel would be an up close video of just your motorcycle where you show all you can of it up close. I love the Rebel 1100 and would love to see all of the parts upclose and personal. Just hover to all parts of the bike so we can see the detail of it. See the brakes, wheels, engine, clutch, buttons, headlight, fenders etc. I want to get a feel of it on video. Also to know where the key is. Can you lock the front wheel? Is there any security on the bike etc. It could be a short video but for those of us who like this bike it would be neat to see it in more detail. Thanks 👍

Do you do any backlogs? Record maybe 3-5 videos, then edit them, and use the Schedule an Upload feature that TH-cam has at all?
To grind out videos for a solid week and then have a buffer of videos so you can take the following weak a bit more chill? (And rinse and repeat)

I'm about to move to an apartment complex and won't have somewhere covered to store my bike. I saw you cover your bike and half-ass searched through your channel for a video explaining your anti-theft protection measures and the covers you use. Affiliate links might be pretty helpful and you should really just shoot it all in like 5 shots like the install videos.

@@LifeOfBurch Ants are no joke, bro. One time, I couldn't figure out where the ants in my kitchen were coming from. I went to get a glass of water, and considering I had been drinking out of the glass, so I knew there no ants in it on my way to the kitchen. As you may have guessed, ants in my glass with the water. So, yeah, pick up the water bottle off of the cooler, and yeah, that's where they were hanging out. Let's just say that was outside by the dumpster shortly thereafter.
