This makes me nostalgic for a game I finished for the first time only a week ago. Still on ME2, I love this series already. Picking up the Legendary Edition was probably one of the best choices I could have made.
Its been so long since i first played ME1 on xbox 360. Every time i recall that memory i remember sitting in my room on the floor playing, a gentle scent of air freshener which i remember the scent till this day makes the nostalgia even stronger. It was christmas, after supper, i remember landing on noveria hanshan plaza, my window was slightly opened so i could feel the cold breeze coming in. It didnt bother me at all. ❤ Even tho so many years have passed im still stuck somewhere in the beginning of ME2. Good thing i got my legendary ME1 save so i can start me2 all over again.
Yess, I played this game on normal and I have to say outside of a few situations I rarely had any trouble but when I reached Saren/Sovereign and when even with my rank 10 specter shotgun full of damage mods and explosive ammo I barely did some damage to him, combined with that music, I felt this final boss was serious business. I can't imagine him in insanity
I play these three games every year. They changed my life and helped me truly mature as a human being. Thanks to these adventures, I know there is a future worth believing in!
When I play Mass Effect, I imgine a vast planetary horizon past my peripherals, I feel an immense cold chill where the void of vacuum should be. I halucinate the smell of Ozone and reel from the visuals of a vast and alien landscape before me. The only thing grounding me is the comfort of my team. Human and alien, all tethered together by the invisible strings of complex relationships; all hinged on the sharp edge of the unknown.
Where's the eerie ost that sounds whenever you explore an underground base in planets?, it has like very acute sounds or something like that, and it's generally a quiet and spooky soundtrack, feels like something I'd hear when exploring the backrooms or SCP lol. This game was amazing (best economic system for me, not so far from the prologue you can sell a lot of items and get rich, by the time I got near half of the game I was already with max money 999999, full specter equipment for me and my teammates), only thing I didn't like was the hours spent in climbing mountains with the Mako (a lot of repetitiveness in the map designs), the controls weren't really that good either and I can't believe even in legendary edition the devs didn't fix the Mako, if you happen to fall and turn the mako upside down you're done, you have to reload because you can't spin it and you also can't leave it, not even open the Map to return to the Normandy. Aside from that, such a good game

Nice work mate 👍💙💜💯
When the Krogan I just defeated activates his second nervous system: 6:48
making me wanna start another playthrough for the nostalgia... when i'm in the middle of ME2
Same. ME1 just hits different
I remember being 12 when I first played this game. The nostalgia and childhood memories of this and fallout 3 haunt my mind
Relatable, Chief.
I can not wait to experience this all over again. The goosebumps and hype are so real! Good hunting fellow N7s!
Absolutley!
Im 38 by now and ME is still ranked under my top 10 games i ever played
Its awesome the trilogy , isn't it?
Same. I'm older than you and not a a big gamer, but this game was something special.
42 here, and same.
Good ol' times, Shepard.

_"Love Theme"_ will always hit a note in my heart.
I played this so many times jesus it's the best trilogy ever made
Just completed my (first) playthrough last night.
Wow. I was missing out.
The theme playing as you wander around the Normandy will forever be playing in my head
Sovereign's theme is my absolute favourite baddy theme, even better then John Williams' Imperial March imo
Vimire Ride is in my opinion my most nostalgic and most favorite sound track ever !!!!!!
Thanks for doing this!! I'm excited to play tomorrow!!!
Final Assault is straight up my favourite out of ME1 OST.
I love how they reused "From the Wreckage" for the ME3 ending
So is this an updated soundtrack? Sounds just as awesome as I remember!
The music is what kept me playing. Some tracks reminded me of FFXII like the Presidium theme (10:34)

That bonus track is perfect.

I never felt so broken in ME1 after losing Ashley. Now I'm in the middle of ME2 and I'm not mentally prepared for Suicide Mission.
Awesome. Thank you.
I wish the OST include that music that plays as you fight the Geth on the way to Saren/Sovereign on the inside of the Citadel.
Tomorrow it begins, again.
At last. Right?
LETS FUCKIN GOOOOO!!!!
My games are one of the greatest
The Normandy...

Epic Music!
It dropped the ball miserably at the end of 3. But it always sounded great.

I love the last track
Mass Effect > Halo
Does anyone know where I can find the theme that begins playing in the Intro of ME1 on the Normandy until you go to Eden Prime?
