Richter scales of 6.8 is just too strong of an earthquake. Even modern houses will suffer catastrophic damages, let alone those old mud houses. I’m relieved that the number of casualties are so low, even compared with the west. Look at Türkiye, tens of thousands dead. China dodged a big one there.. good luck everyone. Stay alive.

most rescuers are Tibetans, there no thousands of chinese rescuers. Tibetans all over Tibet joined to offer help in person or donation. But unfortunately CCp shows only footage with CCp stuffs.
