    I'm glad we have more people fighting the Earth pollution problem instead of "China's Pollution problem" "India's Pollution Problem". Just because the rich countries moved their factories to the less developed countries and pollute over there, does not mean they have the right to humiliate/bashing those countries.

      I am also a Hongkonger, and I have been to the US a few times to visit some relatives (who moved there from HK) and I must say the US is a very beautiful country. We are familiar with the beautiful nature of HK and mainland China, and the US has a different type of nature that is just as beautiful and diverse. If you have a chance to go to the US you must visit Utah and Colorado, the beautiful deserts (Delicate Arch at Utah's Arches National Park is a must go) and the mountains in Colorado are amazing and offers a nice contrast to what we have over here. New York and Boston feels familiar yet strange, as they are both bustling cities like Hong Kong but there are differences. I agree fully with you, sometimes we just need to put politics aside and appreciate each other. I apologize for commenting in English, but I struggle to type Chinese without handwriting or jyutping

    • @jyao8190
      @jyao8190 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Tomoson King yeah I only read the first line.. some of your statements might be true, but the fact is more complex than what you have said. China takes an approach of "first to develop economy, once this has been achieved, China then develops intelligent industrials and reduce the pollution". It was proven to be effective because you cannot do both initally at the same time. As to the CPC -- it has over 90 million members. If their families are not in the country -- it would mean half the Chinese are overseas, which is not true.

    • @jyao8190
      @jyao8190 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Tomoson King I don't understand what you meant with the air quality? I only see that the environment in China has been improved hugely for the last 10 years -- mainly recovered from the damage at 1990s-2000s. If "dictators" do not care, why would they do these? The officials who have their family members outside the country are called "naked officials" in China, they cannot climb up to the "dictator" group because of that since 2010.

    🥰🥰🥰 Katherine, words can’t describe how touch I’m by watching your introduction. You are a very special person in many ways with full of passion and love ....
    Your perspective to see the world and China will make a big difference to many people cross the nation . This video is very meaningful to both Chinese and American as well .
    I used to feel I was an American after living in US my entire life I recently feel Im actually a forever a foreigner in many people’s eyes in US it’s all because what I recently experienced did but I still love so many people around me and those I serve even though I realize I will always be a foreigner in many people’s or a foreigner to people in China if I ever get to visit China one day . However it doesn’t stop me to continue my passion to continue contribute to US . I determine what I do ( my profession is a neuropsychologist in mental health and developmental delayed and I have my medical facilities with staff I hired and people who are licensed like me ) i have always want to be able to do things no one life’s to do and no one can do to serve the people who needs help the most makes . It’s how I was raised by my father who taught me to think and live this way and it’s the only way that I will be happy for the rest of my life is to be able to make myself a good provider and useful to my community and my country . I enjoy challenges . It’s the only way that makes me feel alive and encourage me to moving forward . You may be a foreigner in China but what you do certainly has made differences to your life as well as to many Chinese and American people . Your reasons to move to China has opened many people’s eyes and changed many people’s mind . Your passion and dreams for helping China and Chinese people will make differences to many Chinese as well as Americans and rest of other people who are from rest of other countries. This video inspired me and I’m certain it also moved many others who watched this video like me .
    This is how we make our life useful and meaningful. You are showing many younger generation to really see that as can only open our mind to learn more from others and our motivation to learn different things and new language is able to see and think differently, it helps us to enrich our life in order to make differences to other people ‘s life through our life experience so we don’t waste our time living in this plant. To try our best to fulfill our destination everyday is to make the best of our use without regret . I pray for you and your husband and rest of your loved ones as well as people in China will continue receiving more blessings . I hope your life will constantly filled with a lot of adventure, , love and blessings . After all my life , my family have been living in US , tuning medical facilities hired many staff , what happened in the last 2 years I have not left and I have kept every staff . We have been though so many difficult snd unfair situations , and family member passed away , God shower me to see what I couldn’t see , but my faith is even much stronger then before I wish I could be treated ias the way how most Chinese are treating you with kindness , politeness and how they welcome you to live in China as the way I can be treated in US for what I have done and contributed in US f. However I I do care so much for the place where I am as well as family , friends and my community which is the same way as how you feel for your family and people in China . Your words touched my heart, you said “ China has everything I want , I need it’s all here “ and that’s how I feel to live where I am . I think I never get the chance to go to China and I m certain I will feel the way how you feel if I could moved to China lot experience what you have experienced before I married to my husband . Your introduction remind me ability this wonderful American lady Elizabeth and her husband who is from UK , they raised their family and children in China before 1947 , She is in her 90’s ? .She contributed most of her life to help to China and Chinese . She said “ China is the my home I don’t see I will ever leave this place “ It’s ironic to see some Chinese don’t recognize they are Chinese , but foreigners who live in China chose to merry to Chinese and love China . For this part , you opened up many people ‘s mind and touched so many people’s heart . I forwarded your video to people who are not just Asian , Caucasian Latino.. etc to have them see what they could not see and experience what you have shared through the videos you posted . It’s been my pleasure of knowing you through the video we have watched . We pray and hope to see your dream come true. We want to see many great videos to help more people to understand the best life isn’t just where we choose to live , it’s about how to love , understand each other and how we help each other no matter where we come from ... We want the best for our land , our community . most of all , we want to make the best use of life knowing we are living in the same planet and we want to enjoy every second of our life , we want to be useful , we want to make differences while we can still breath .. We truly enjoy your video and we hope your dreams and goals will come true . We are so look forward to watch many more your videos . All the Best 🥰🥰🥰💕💕🙏🙏

It's a vast country and there's more to life of it than what people said. I haven't been there and I'm a banana and i easily understand why Chinese writing are such a way. Example, the Chinese word for door. It resemble the structure of a main entrance and that's why it's written in such a way and stroke.

    Very good vlog. Suppose u pick the name "阳离子" over "洋妮子". Judging by the way u spoke, u are obviously a well-educated and cultured person. It had to be that big passion for China to make you moved and now live there.
    To viewers all over the world: This and other vlogs showing "foreigners" travel around, meeting people freely, walking safely on the streets and at night; the ordinary Chinese people traveling home on Lunar New Year/other holidays, shopping in malls and markets, etc. Do they look "suppressed", "sad", "closely surveilled"...to you, as often reported by the U_S. (and so-called allies) media? Use your head and think. Stop being fooled and manipulated, unless u are contented to be the head-in-sand ostrich. THINK hard, WHO are actually being "brainwashed" and spoon-fed with "fake" news? The CN gov't is not perfect, but neither is any others.

      They are, trust me, I'm Chinese, they are brainwashing the people, it's just that most Chinese are resilient. Without the government, China would be a much better place, a place free like Taiwan. The economic booth own thanks to the population, the people, not the government, and the ccp are trying to take credit for that.

The most impression for me is that the China changed so much in past decades compares to the other countries. It becomes richer and richer, stronger and stronger, more and more beautiful. I always thought the world out of China is much better than China but now I don't think so again after I traveled many countries. Every country has its characteristics no matter good or bad. Excellent video. Best quote: "Lack of interest and passion makes things seem difficult" I agree.... Chinese is actually (gramatically at least) the EASIEST language out of the major languages. It's simply the intimidation factor that Americans have when they see non-romanized script that leads them to say it's the "hardest language in the world". I will admit that pronunciation and tones are very difficult, but the language is actually very efficient and doesn't have case endings like german, or rampant exceptions like English.... and memorizing the 300 characters needed to communicate is easy too when you realize that there are motifs (so you're not really memorizing 300). Of course, people don't know this because they have never even TRIED to learn the language. Going back to lack of interest and passion. I've known plenty of non-Chinese whose overall proficiency is better than most American Born Chinese.

      'Easy' / 'Hard' language - it's completely relative to what you already speak. Chinese is very different from Indo-European languages. We English-speakers ignore how hard English is, for non-European/BritishColonial/USA people! (I think we invented our insanely irregular spelling, our weird verbs & tenses, and our 'th' sounds, just to torture foreigners!)
