That's a good family income! And not just a house but solar water heater, rice cooker, laundry machine, other appliances, lots of food and fertilizer, food in storage. They look pretty set! In old Tibet you could say that they basically would not have existed! Intense poverty and short lives, smaller population, no infrastructure or utilities or vehicles. This guy has been worked in the most rural countryside of the whole country, he knows and cares the real poor life of grassroot country people.
