Interview with the Ambassador of Bhutan to the UN, Ms. Doma Tshering, about the graduation from LDCs

Bhutan is looking forward to the CDP’s second triennial review this week, it is very optimistic and would welcome the CDP’s recommendation for Bhutan’s graduation. This is according to her excellency the permanent representative of Bhutan to the United Nations, Ms. Doma Tshering, in her interview with OHRLLS advocacy team.
Ms. Tshering confirmed her government commitment to graduation from the LDC category, saying that LDC graduation has always been viewed as a key development milestone and not an end in itself.

She is the daughter of former Home Minister and niece of former Prime Minister of Bhutan. Prime example of nepotism in Bhutan. Isn't she the one found to have deposited a big amount in her personal Bank account in audit fraud. She claimed in thousands of US dollars as medical expenses of her domestic help and deposited it in her Bank account without any medical receipts. She also charged expenses of her cosmetic treatment to the Government. Just google her name every detail of audit fraud she has committed will come up. It was published in Kuensel, National news paper of Bhutan. Makes one wonder a person who I assume gets paid well in Bhutanese standard, how low can she stoop ??? Even her father Dago Tshering has amassed wealth through corruption by using his power as a Government official.
