I took a trip there with my friends 8 years ago and experienced the same things that Pawo talks about. Yes it is a country that strives for beauty, peace and happiness but it has its own struggles for recognition, a voice and a changing youth living in a fairly treacherous economy. Yet I have met the kindest people . Couldn't stop tearing up remembering the kind, smart and funny people I met and the stunning landscapes that shape the country.Bhutan will always have a piece of my heart ! Congratulations Pawo Dorji for this incredible achievement. Can't wait to watch this film.

Great I have a soft corner fr Bhutan as I stayed their fr few years. The beauty of that country is unbelievable & the people are very nice over there. Great achievement kudos to him with those limited facilities he really did wonderful job.
Wow Mr.Pow you have the beautiful explanation in connection to Buddhism (in relation to impermanence) taking an example of rainbow being conditioned by the water and sunlight and yet for a short time it appears so beautiful and colourful but still it just can't be the same experience...it can't be related to the former...either or it can be better.
Seeing storytelling as untying a knot: I love the idea. 🌸 I saw Lunana last year and thought it was a beautiful and sweet film. 💟 Hence I recognized Pawo Choyning Dorji’s name when the video showed up in the subscriptions. Loved this interview and looking forward to The Monk and the Gun. Sneha khatoon, would you consider doing a video where you sort of review or share your thoughts about all the films you’ve experienced at TIFF? I suspect you’ve seen quite a few and I would to know what you think. 🤓
Not related to this video but important. Even before "Dunki" movie is released i can tell that anupama chopra and film companion are going to give great reviews to it because film companion loves to glorify islamists like shahrukh khan. Film companion is so predictable.
Thanks for sharing this. I think you should go and write this on every video in case somebody misses it. At the same time watch every video and hopefully educate yourself
