A beautiful way of life! My Grandparents had a Summer cabin in the Northern California mountains with springs, gravity fed water, wood stove for cooking and water heating and an outdoor privy. Practical, sustainable and peaceful!
I can't get enough of your environment. You are so very creative and you know how to manifest whatever you desire. Just sublime. Your voice is so calming that between that and where you are immediately calms me, too. I'm 62 and disabled, but my daughter helps me in the garden, doing all of the heavy moving and cleaning. I'm slowly learning on TH-cam how to make my garden healthy. I stopped consuming animal products over ten years ago, and like you am very content with my lot in life. Though watching your videos gives me so many goals for the future that I'll never be bored! Thank you so much for these videos! We are sisters in spirit. And thank you for promoting a kind life. That's the best thing ever. :)
Hello Colette I just wanted to let you know my son got me a cottage and three acres for Christmas and I couldn’t put it down I loved the little gift inside and the leaf I have put in under something I planted last week . I use a plunger in a 5 gallon bucket to do my laundry a lot. Works pretty good. For sheets and towels it's wonderful.

I wish I had your skills at DIY. I've only just last week managed to put a curtain pole up...its a tad wonky but I'm still proud of myself 🙂 would like to learn how to do more things around the house so that I can fix my porch, put some trellis up and bird box etc x

I totally empathise with your hesitancy around the term vegan. There are so many conflicting issues around one’s attempts to lead an ethical, environmentally friendly lifestyle. I have had a plant based diet for about 30 + years, I eliminated dairy products about 3 + years ago and I have a fairly frugal lifestyle purchasing mostly secondhand etc. However, I have kept rescue hens which I have made use of their eggs when they have given them, have dilemmas over so called ‘vegan products ‘( such as shoes) which are VERY unenvironmentally friendly in terms of their biodegradablility etc. But hey ho! We try to our best. Blessings, love what you do & how you live.

No problems for me to watch ads on your channel either as long as you benefit from it! Its become a fact of life on You Tube! You might as well get something more for your time. We now have about 20” of snow on the ground. 😢
