At around the 13 min mark Mitch is talking about visiting India. I went to India many years ago to attend a friends wedding, I had hoped I might get to visit certain holy places while there but had made no plans. One day I went to a local temple and got into a conversation with one of the residents. I mentioned how I thought I might be able to go to these holy places but I don’t know if it will be possible or if someone like me could even enter such a place. He told me that if I can think of going there then I have already been there, if I wasn’t worthy of entering I couldn’t entertain such a thought. I didn’t get to go during that visit to India but I did visit Kurukshetra, the battlefield of the Mahabharata (we happened to pass it on the way to the airport and I insisted on stopping). I returned a few years later and went to the many places I wanted to go, and many more I hadn’t even considered going to. If you are meant to physically go there you will no doubt go there, if not you will go there in spirit. Just as Swami Sarvapryananda is explaining in the video, it doesn’t matter if you are awake or dreaming when it happens, it matters that you experience it. Honestly my experiences in india seem like a dream to me now.
I know both Hindi and Sanskrit and I'd like to share that Sanskrit is a very ancient language and it can be quite intimidating to learn. 'Emptiness' as I have come to understand after a little bit of experience is like this - Have you observed that when you are happy on a certain day your body feels light .. & super light when you are really excited. And it is heavy when your day is not going too well .. & too heavy when you are depressed or sad. Now can you imagine a situation where all the resistance which you experience as your body weight starts to disappear in your experience . Now it would be 'emptiness' when you achieve a state where you have zero experience of your body but felt that pure bliss which comes with the loss of body weight.

Some of my logical explanation about Mandukya Upanishad. Why easily say dream was unreal but cannot say our waking state unreal. Because when we dream again, it doesn't continue from where it discontinued. But if you observe clearly then will find out entire world changes so minutely when we wake up but it is not that gross so we cannot see it easily and think everything continues in waking state. Suppose everyone in world sleeps for 16 hrs and wake up for 8 hr and everyone's dream start from where it discontinued. Then we will say dream state is real and waking is unreal. But in reality both are false. It doesn't mean we are unaffected in these states because in dream also we feel pain and pleasure and all that so there we create one I and experience everything. Same happens in waking state, we create new I and experience everything. In dream state, there is no I of waking state because we doesn't feel pain and pleasure of this waking body. Anyway there is lot to talk. Think over it, you will amaze.
This video is based on Vedanta. The simple question of who am I? Is being understood through intellect. And therefore it's a part of Jnana yoga, or trying to reach your ultimate reality through knowledge.
Gnana Yoga - Yoga of the intellect/awareness Bhakti Yoga - Yoga of devotion / emotional intensity Karma Yoga - Yoga of action without expectation of the fruit of action Raja / Kriya Yoga - Yoga through direct transmission from the Guru, energy-wise (that's how Sadhguru attained)
How do you mean that’s how Sadhguru attained? Wasn’t there no guru present in the physical? Or are you saying Shiva was energetically present (that’s what I perceive as Sadhguru’s Guru)
@@LearnWithUsOriginals I'm not talking about his present lifetime which was just a reminder. In his previous lifetime as "Shiva Yogi", his Guru touched him with a stick between the eyebrows. That was his moment of enlightenment. That memory came back to him in this present embodiment at the "right" time so that Dhyanalinga consecration could be become a reality. A being may already be enlightened but some limitation may be self-imposed if he has a certain goal or mission to fulfil. For example, Krishna was an Avatar / incarnation but he became aware of it much later at the age of 16. Same thing happened with Sadhguru in this lifetime at the age of 24. The same thing also applies to Vivekananda, his Guru gave him a full experience of the ultimate Samadhi but he kinda prevented him from going into that state again since he had a mission for Vivekananda to fulfill in the world (call it a Yogic lock if you will). That's why Vivekananda died at a young age of 39 since he had completed his mission at that time.
The part of video at 7:05 where you say I am awake at all three states of our sleep. That person is Supreme blisfull Consciousness (Atman) residing in each one of us. It is witness to all our activities. It is always awake and if you can connect with it, then you become a blissful person who has achieved everything. Try to listen to "Pratah Smarami" prayer of Adi Shankaracharya on you tube. It's just 2 mins prayer in Sanskrit.
Matrix is inspired from hinduism if you don't believe me than go to the end part of matrix-3 (last part ).when movie ends name of actors and directors started coming, at that time background music is " mantra or slock of hinduism (veda) ".the matra is "asatoma jyotir gamay ".and matrix director also told that it is made from hinduism.
Movies like Matrix and Mission Impossible 2 that came around that time were so Huge in Asia. Everyone knows about it you couldnt escape it even though many didnt understand the concept or understood english properly back then they could appreciate the amazing visuals and Action scenes.
I don't know if you're aware, but The Matrix was inspired by the concepts of Bhagwad Geeta. The trilogy ends with a Sanskrit mantra when the credits start to roll. That mantra is also very deep.
Recently I have being trying to develop this skill wherein I'm doing only one thing at a time till I finish the task. Like when I'm watching your video I'm just fully watching, or when I'm smoking I'm fully into the smoke or when I'm interacting with anyone I'm fully into the conversation or when I'm playing on my PS just focusing on the gameplay. Seems easy but it has been real hard practice for me personally with all distractions around me and it also has improved me a lot in my meditation practices cause I'm realizing now that when I do one thing at a time and not clutter my mind with multiple tasks, I become more of an observer than the observed. Still on the process to master this. Felt like sharing a very simple technique with you guys.
Thanks I will try this. As a student I always am overthinking and end up not doing anything ( also my dad told me his but just being a normal teenager never listened to them .. and now I agree )

@@Rajat-qo7ot In that approach, we should not comment...because whatever line you say and whatever way you say, at the end will have some deep meaning and sometimes even same... Yes these are basics if you are looking into the mechanics of spirituality and not just realisation. 🙏🏻
Haha. Someone asked Eckhart, what does it feel like being enlightened. He said, Who is left to experience it?? 😂 So, you don't BECOME no 4. No 4 is who you ARE. All that's required is to identify and work on experiencing 1,2,3 and realising they aren't IT.
Gyan yoga. Logical path/ path of the intellect. Eg; Jiddu Krishnamutthy. Historically (known history) the biggest Gyan yogi is known to be Gyaneshwar (13th century) about 800 years ago. Attained at the age of 16.
I also imagined turiya as light.. Light can not b seen without a medium.. thats why the space is black right.. because theres no air or any molecule to be illuminated by light.. so space is like deep sleep.. turiya is there in every corner of space but u can't see it.. or experience.. witness it
JNANA YOGA.. THE KNOWLEDGE OF DISCRIMINATING BETWEEN THE REAL AND UNREAL.. SELF( CONCIOUSNESS ) ..ALONE EXISTS..REST IS AN ILLUSSION YOU ARE THE VERY CONCIOUSNESS THAT YOU SEEK.. UPANISHADS..SAY... TATVAM ASI ( THAT ART THOU ). AHAM BHRAMASMI ( I AM THE CONCIOUSNESS). EVERYTHING IS THE SAME CONCIOUSNESS.. THERE ARE NO OTHERS 😇
20:48..... all states and emotions are because of the physical and mental identity....if we identify as just life being disassociated with the body and the mind....we may be able to be aware in all 3 states just an opinion
Buddism is also Jnana yoga, buddhi means intellect, buddha means a person who have buddhi or yogi of Jnana, unfortunetly medias, education systems nowdays there is this confusion going on to divide and rule politics just to gain votes and conversion purposes people are trying to divide buddhism from hinduism saying it is different and nothing to do with hinduism and is anti-hinduism but how can a branch of a tree has nothing to do with the same tree and how can it opposite it. so there is nothing in buddhism that hinduism cant explain afterall it came from hinduims just need a capable guru similarly in buddhism you need a capable guru or buddha
These people are part of vedanta philosophy thats derived directly from vedas. You guys can react to story of svetaketu by Pravarajika Divyanandprana she also belong to the same group and pretty precise with the teachings.
Also read the 3 series of the book Aghora. After going through all the gnyan and when you reach the next level what to do next to reach the target. That is when books like Aghora by Robert Swaboda, Raja Yoga by Swami Vivekananda come handy.
Regarding the seeking out Guru's part, Don't be afraid of seeking out a Guru. It's not guaranteed to get you a Guru or Enlightenment but I think a visit to India and all the places of Gurus you love will help you immensely. Every single person who has gone to Tiruvannamalai after reading Ramana Maharshi says he is still there and the Hill Arunachala which is at the center of that town is every bit as powerful and graceful as Ramana describes Arunachala in his poem Aksharamanamalai. And remember, Ramana Maharshi said you don't have to go anywhere for realisation but at the same time encouraged people to go and sit with realized souls in silence. The Maharshi called Arunachala the spiritual Heart of the world. Aruna, which means ‘red, bright like fire’, does not signify the mere fire that gives off heat. Rather, it means Jnanagni, the Fire of Wisdom, which is neither hot nor cold. Achala signifies hill. Thus, Arunachala means ‘Hill of Wisdom’. It's no mere coincidence that Ramana Maharshi happened to travel all these miles even after his realization and made Arunachala his permanent abode.
4th one is Drasta. Means suppose you are watching a movie you are the one who you think 'I' watches the movie and movie is the one which is being watched but there is something which is watching both movie and who you think you are 'I' which is real you 'I' known as Drasta(pure consciousness who witness everything)❣️❣️😍

Hinduism is a traditional way of life. Many practitioners refer to the "orthodox" form of Hinduism as Sanātana Dharma, "the eternal law" or the "eternal way".The Sanskrit word dharma has a much broader meaning than religion and is not its equivalent. All aspects of a Hindu life, namely acquiring wealth (artha), fulfillment of desires (kama), and attaining liberation (moksha) are part of dharma which encapsulates the "right way of living" and eternal harmonious principles in their fulfillment. Also we are only who accept all religions are true.
5:48 Prapancha is a Sanskrit word. If you're interested in Hindi then learn Hindi, if you're interested in Sanskrit then learn Sanskrit but Sanskrit would be more difficult than Hindi. Spoken Hindi (which uses more Arabo-Persian words) and written Hindi (which uses more Sanskrit words) are very different. If you know the spoken form there's no guarantee that you'll know the written form. Just wanted to let you know.

Dosent the thought of being blank in sleep itself is a thought of being awareness or the difference in situation ; which would mean that if you are having awareness then you are awake in that state. Because one sentence ,situation and experience can be interpreted and explained in various ways ... just my way of looking at your thought .

Who witness is one and resides in all be it animate or inanimate .Its like there are different cameras in this world like male camera , female camera, human ,animal, bird, insect, fish.... but behind all these cameras there is only one observer who just witnesses .
5:37 happy to know u wanna learn hindi, but hindi as it's spoken today is very diluted with regional variations and dialects. Hindi and most of the world languages r derived from Sanskrit. You can learn important Sanskrit terms and phrases, that should be enough.

We need a Q&A about you guys !
The fourth one is ur soul which experiences every form yet it can be detached from every form and get liberated from all worlds
Atma actually doesn’t translate to soul ( like what it represents on the western world ) , it may be called your true self .
This is Vedanta philosophy by Swami Vivekananda. Essence of the sacred vedas
Movies like Matrix and Mission Impossible 2 that came around that time were so Huge in Asia. Everyone knows about it you couldnt escape it even though many didnt understand the concept or understood english properly back then they could appreciate the amazing visuals and Action scenes.
Oh damn I didn’t know that!
@@shrunotijoshi6371 Great! I wish you success on every awakening path you walk. If only I had known these during my teenage, but it's okay.. Its never to late for anyone. Good luck!
Thank you for sharing! I find this practice to be especially beneficial and especially hard while eating! I enjoy myself and my meal and my time so much more if I just sit and really taste the food and chew it properly. You’re right too, it sounds so simple. It is so far from easy!
I've been practicing this since few days bcz to overcome my anxiety issues
Trust me it is extremely tougher than i thought. Especially while eating . I hope i won't give up and be consistent on this.

This is a complete comment. It’s perfect😂❤️🙏🏻
These are basics.... just for kids..Much Love!!
if you understand it actually not theoretically ,you wouln't say this
@@Rajat-qo7ot In that approach, we should not comment...because whatever line you say and whatever way you say, at the end will have some deep meaning and sometimes even same... Yes these are basics if you are looking into the mechanics of spirituality and not just realisation. 🙏🏻
oh just the basics huh? I feel like we wouldn’t be able to handle much more haha much love Mayur
@@LearnWithUsOriginals Hahaaaa...😅❤️
It is like opening your eyes wide in a pitch dark room.u r doingthe seeing but there is no object to be seen
this form of yoga is called jnana yoga (Gyan Yoga). You are the near the end of your path and now be ready for the divine test...
Great!
Hey guys... Just a small info.. matrix movie was based on vedanta teachings...the blue pill n the red pill...states of consciousness...
Haha. Someone asked Eckhart, what does it feel like being enlightened. He said, Who is left to experience it?? 😂 So, you don't BECOME no 4. No 4 is who you ARE. All that's required is to identify and work on experiencing 1,2,3 and realising they aren't IT.
yea like , your guru makes you overexert your ego so much that you just one day forget that you were supposed to be one of the 3.
Damn. Ram Dass says it like ‘you have to give up knowing that you know’. That’s a TOUGH ONE
He is giving lecture in IIT ,in india iit is like MIT all the big names come from these IIT branches
Gyan yoga. Logical path/ path of the intellect. Eg; Jiddu Krishnamutthy. Historically (known history) the biggest Gyan yogi is known to be Gyaneshwar (13th century) about 800 years ago. Attained at the age of 16.
Congrats brothers for 10k subs
Om Shanti (peace)
Thank you🙏🏻much love
Great clip! Was so eager to watch the part 2
There’s 4 parts coming out!!! Next two coming Saturday and Monday

SELF( CONCIOUSNESS )
..ALONE EXISTS..REST IS AN ILLUSSION
YOU ARE THE VERY CONCIOUSNESS THAT YOU SEEK..
UPANISHADS..SAY...
TATVAM ASI ( THAT ART THOU ).
AHAM BHRAMASMI ( I AM THE CONCIOUSNESS).
EVERYTHING IS THE SAME CONCIOUSNESS..
THERE ARE NO OTHERS
😇
20:48..... all states and emotions are because of the physical and mental identity....if we identify as just life being disassociated with the body and the mind....we may be able to be aware in all 3 states
just an opinion
Everything Ramana Maharshi has to say on the matter lands with me so we’ll
even some part of matrix is inspired by upnishad, see its ending it used Pavamana Mantra from upnishad
Waiting for next part can't wait

Oh love to hear this❤️
Hey! you guys actually checked out Swami Sarvapriyananda! I've been recommending him to you for a long time
Thank you for doing so this was incredible to react to🙏🏻
you could check out buddhism cuz it's just another branch of hinduism but very detailed. it can clear a lot of doubts
We have gotten a bit into Buddhism in the past!
@@animax1034 yea that's not so fast, if you want quicker result you should focus on the tantra aspect of it not the intellect one
Be open is good thing ...but you have to strive for it...so that ...you can speed up that process in this life time..

These people are part of vedanta philosophy thats derived directly from vedas. You guys can react to story of svetaketu by Pravarajika Divyanandprana she also belong to the same group and pretty precise with the teachings.
Sanskrit is the mother of all Indian languages .
Also it has similarities with morden day Latvian / Estonian etc
Cuz of its Indo - Aryan connection
This is gnyana yoga … yoga of knowledge.
Means suppose you are watching a movie you are the one who you think 'I' watches the movie and movie is the one which is being watched but there is something which is watching both movie and who you think you are 'I' which is real you 'I' known as Drasta(pure consciousness who witness everything)❣️❣️😍
matrix was made on the concept of UPINISHAD even they formed a song in a movie using a mantra from upinishad.
0:44 THIS IS JANANA YOGA (YOGA OF KNOWLEDGE)
And he is mba postgraduate from one of top colleges in India
Mandukya upanishad is the 7th most important upanishad and the smallest one but very difficult to understand. Whis is being explained in this video.
It is being said that if you understand this one upanishad than is enough.
Sanskrit is the mother
Hindi, marathi, malayalam, Tamil, telugu, kannada, etc r its childrens
Thank god you said it,the tamil language nazis Haven't come in yet 😂. Telugu is 80% sanskrit.
Bangla is the closest to Sanskrit in terms of structure and grammar. I think Kannada is the closest in terms of vocabulary.
Good to know, thank you☺️
@@LearnWithUsOriginals You're welcome. If you're interested in only Sanskrit words I'd say go for the written Hindi.
Yup matrix, really good example
Matrix, Interstellar all r loosely based on part of Vedhanthas. Yoga Vashitha is considered the Supreme Knowledge. Sanskrit is the mother language of all the scriptures of Vedhas! The scripts r same in Hindi. If u want to learn for spiritual purpose, learn Sanskrit - can understand few Indian languages easily just by learning one. And it is one of the Perfect language - the lingo of Divine! 🙏
Its jnana yoga - the path of the intellect.
0:43 Jnana Yoga Yoga of Knowledge
Guys, search for a video called" what if our body was made up of photons".
Fun fact: one of a sect of our traditional call the god by name which means timeless.
*Fun fact: Matrix movie itself is based/inspired from Advaita Vedanta.*
Congrats on 10k 👍👍👍🙌🙌
Thank you☺️💛
5:29 go for sanskrit if possible (instead) that way you can directly ready old books
This is Dnyana(Jnana) Yoga.
Dosent the thought of being blank in sleep itself is a thought of being awareness or the difference in situation ; which would mean that if you are having awareness then you are awake in that state. Because one sentence ,situation and experience can be interpreted and explained in various ways ... just my way of looking at your thought .
We think alike... end of the day we share the same consciousness.
It is Jnana Yoga. Jnana is roughly translated to Knowledge.
It's gyana yoga or yoga of knowledge
Okay good to know, thank you much love
Script is devanagari for both Sanskrit n Hindi , if u learn Sanskrit u learnt almost 60% of all Indian languages
Wow......
Yes ikr!!!
This is Jnana Yoga = the Path of intellectual Discrimination between the Real and the Unreal.
It's the Yoga of Knowledge or, you can say knowledge yoga (unofficially).
Watch "Enlightenment Experience - How Swami Vivekananda Attained Enlightenment? (As Explained by Himself)"
Who witness is one and resides in all be it animate or inanimate .Its like there are different cameras in this world like male camera , female camera, human ,animal, bird, insect, fish.... but behind all these cameras there is only one observer who just witnesses .
7:08 yup.. not just him.. many.. (perhaps eventually you too)
If the urge gets intense, you will pack the bag and come. If the pain of ignorance is troubling you, then you will realize.
Was the subject of this lecture the Mandukya Upanishad by any chance?
5:37 happy to know u wanna learn hindi, but hindi as it's spoken today is very diluted with regional variations and dialects. Hindi and most of the world languages r derived from Sanskrit. You can learn important Sanskrit terms and phrases, that should be enough.
The present day hindi is almost urdu
Good to know! Thank you
It's gnana yoga means way of knowledge..
For your information letters are the same in Hindi and sanskrit
Hinduism looks very chidish when you look it from outside but when you dive deeper and learn about advaita vedanta you realise you have hit the jackpot!!😅
Deep sleep is body rejuvenation
Indeed!
Hope you will be able to differentiate between Ego and Pride by the end of Swami's lesson. One is necessary for self-realization, while the other is not.
