    Perfect. Going to replace the light bulbs of my speedo in my 1979 Ranchero bc they are so dimm. Searched for this video because spare parts are hard to get here in Germany.
    Thanks 😊

    Saved my life with that one. I’ve been scratching my head for 30 minutes looking for videos on that. Thanks! My 85 F250 thanks you, too. My God that was easy once I saw it on your video.

    I've had this 69 Mustang since 2004 and I never knew this and I've been in the dash a bunch! Geez! Simple, to the point, and exactly what I need to prevent me from going ballistic!

    Life saver bro this same method worked on my 77 ford I almost broke the brittle plastics on my cluster that I just bought from eBay 😂 (and I really love how you wasted no time, right to the point!)

    Man I love when people make videos like this. It's the simple stuff that makes things a real pain. I got the cable off and replaced all the dash lights with LEDs in an 84 hatchback and now speedo doesn't work. Thought I had it on all the way but the connector didn't seem to lock in very well. Time to take it apart again. I wasn't really sure how the cable came off, but I kept messing with it and it came off.

    • @Nodarperformance
      @Nodarperformance  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah i had similiar frustrations. When your reaching behind the cluster its almost impossible to see what your doing

    • @badcrcz
      @badcrcz 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Nodarperformance I just took it apart and spent about 45 minutes screwing with that cable to lock back into place, but thanks to your vid at least I understood how it's supposed to work. Four times and the speedo still didn't work, so what i did was pulled the needle out with needlenose pliers and stuck that into the speedo gauge connector all the way, then slipped the metal cylinder on the speedo cable over the gauge connector, then I was able to finally lock that plastic piece over it correctly and it worked. For some reason I couldn't get it on all the way without pulling that plastic needle out first. I wonder why they didn't just make a normal pinch style connector that makes sense. Probably a lot of people that break that thing thinking you squeeze it.
