Bro thanks for your help , mine only needed a clean up with a dry sponge, and its perfect again , it had a few humidity spots , i brushed it , and its as good as new !
None of my traces are broken everything works but my cluster lights ! Tried everything . 1985 cutlass rally gauge . Checked fuses and made sure all harness pins have tension
Good video but most even 2010 and up vehicles some earlier vehicles actually have a board which need solder if you can see the problem burn , mine has problems, but looking at board looks fine ---- when cluster installed problems
i have access to about 200 integument clusters. They are out of the vehicle however,I do not know functionality of any of them. I just want to unload them as is. Any suggestions? Im finding stuff from 2015- 1980's

If that is Dodge pickup, there are 2 plugs (connectors) that you simply plug the cluster into. However there is no always on wire in either connector, so you will never find one. Power is supplied only when key is in the on/start positions. The orange wire coming from a joint connector into one of cluster connectors is the power, if key is in on/start pos. (with battery connected of course)

So whats the issue if you can't find power from the cables you plug into cluster?
Thank you! Helpful video.
Great video! Could u leave the jumper wires in place and install ing the instrument cluster like that
Yes
Simple but very informative, thank you for quick tutorial. New subscriber by the way.😊

the hard part is getting it out of the dash
I got the cluster out, but i can't figure out where is the issue. My temp gauge is not working
Very cool!
I think I would rather dab some solder in that trace rather than the liquid stuff. Or you can solder a small gauge wire to the trace.
would solder not harm the tracer?

I thought solder was none conductive...correct me if I'm wrong
@@Handlehandlebars Hello ,, Why do you think they use it in Electronics ?

Hey I got vibration in the instrument cluster how do you fix it. Thanks it driving me nuts.
If the entire cluster is vibrating check for loose screws and tighten them to specs
what is the name of the iiquid used to make back the contacts?
So in other words, my car is done.
Very helpful. How about replacing vsss
Awesome
My problem is harder to find, the volt meter is intermittent, works sometimes,I suspect a ground problem.

Will a bad Instrment Cluster cause my 2011 XF Jaguar not to start?
in my case, bad cluster drained battery, so I wasnt able to start my car. So, may be yes :D
Gotta fix mine so I don’t get another speeding ticket 😢
Same, and man they love pulling over my Crown Vic 😂
