I'mma need some of that good stuff too cause this video's a masterpiece. Hat's off to you sir, for the incredible storytelling combined with the countless hours you've put into recording and editing each video.
8:16 Because he's at war with everyone, he's also at war with everyone's enemies. So if he's isn't actively fighting a faction, his rekations with them will improve.
1:11 in lore the galleons graveyard is in the Maelstrom, the other side of the Great Maw, it attracts all that die at sea, Niklaus Von Carstein a vampire from sylvania discovered its location and transported his castle there, combining it with other shipwrecks to create a giant ship called the bloody reaver he changed his name to Count Noctilus and began building an undead fleet to terrorize the seas, this "Dreadfleet" had its own tabletop game in which an alliance of pirates tried to take down noctilus and his allies
The Sword of Kaine doesn't make everyone declare war on you but it makes your leader stronger at the cost of making your empire weaker. It decreases control making it far more likely for your settlements to rebel.
Important to note that there are a couple factions that either completely ignore these downsides or can shrug them off. Beastmen don't have settlements, don't pay upkeep for their units and don't really do diplomacy so none of the debuffs affect them. Vampire Coast is another such faction where basically none of the downsides apply to them so there is no reason not to use it. High Elves are too rich for the +10% upkeep to affect them much and they get plenty of public order bonuses so the -8 isn't that bad.
@@JuiceofApple107 That doesn't really matter, usually. If you're playing High Elves, you can either bribe the people you like with Influence to be your friends, or you can kill them. If you are the Beastmen, you can kill them anyway. If you are the Vampire Coast, you can kill them. It really isn't that big a deal.
At 33:51 when Kleaper mouses over Karl's icon it shows the he is using battle abilities to boost his damage. Whe figthing Noctilus he has +25% base damage and +75% armor piercing damage. Also when he shows Karl's stat card at 33:54 it shows that he has armor soundering(the red and grey icon next to his melee attack), wich lowers Noctilus's armor, making him take more damage, and lastly thanks to his hammer, Gal Maraz, Karl has magical attacks(the blue string also next to his melee attack), bypassing some of Noctilus's damage reduction.
Kleeper and Reggie are funny guys I’m also glad that these guys do these creative ways to play warhammer like Reggie modding the German army in WW1 and using there tactics
"Is it really possible to beat the entire game with just one guy?" Well, probably not, but "Can you beat Total Warhammer 3 with ONLY Heroes" , from Anti-Kleaper is the closest I've seen of it
5:08 All factions can pick up these water treasures, but the vampire coasts also gains treasure maps. Which send em to a random location designated on that map, you then use the army ability to dig for it. Either your right on target and rind it or sorry better take another look at that map cuz it's 2 cm to the right. You also can have up to 6 maps and discard any you want. Cuz no way are you normally sailing all the way to the norsca/chaos waste, which takes mutiple turns when you can get one thats nearby.
There is an option in settings to scale down the troop count per unit. IIRC (Doubled, halved, quartered). This helps a lot with CPU limitations. However, it also has the impact of making the single troop units, heroes, and lords, disproportionately powerful. Nonetheless if your CPU is struggling it's a good thing to keep in mind. Reducing a 10k battle down to 2.5k will help a lot, as a 10k battle is pretty exceptional.
Siege battles are in general better. Instead of just a flat wall with cannon towers and very little room to place your army behind it, you're actually defending a settlement and can build defensive towers and barricades. Are the battles longer and a little more tedius? yes, but they ARE better, at least in my own opinion.
yes u can :D i did it myself once. but i stoped at around turn 50... is to boring to fight all battles manualy if u win 100% of the time. and autoresolve does not understand that a magic-user with 90% wardsave is unkillable and can kill all he wants. to much cheese makes the game less fun at some point
Reggie made a vid on an alternate skaven lord if you're looking how lord in there own faction differ and are similar. And of course if you're looking for warhammer content under a different genre, vermintide 2 is like a zombie shooter but the zombies are skaven
38:22 is becose vemintide work in a different way, instead of spawning a lot of army of that faction create undercity under basicaly all settelment and give skaven a lot of cash
''...but that was with a modded leader'' says that not knowing how absolutely insanely strong near every leader becomes endgame. like endgame Archaon or kholek basically HAVE to be fought by defeating their army and routing them instead because they are that damn powerful. once saw the both of them casually crush the orc endgame together while i sat and watched in awe as armies of orks kept vanishing each endturn.
There are a lot of characters you can make into one man armies. Not just one stack, just the lord by themselves, I've seen people do it with various demon princes and at least of of the cathay dragons. You can totally go one solitary dude against the world and win. Generally it revolves around getting specific artifacts to raise ward saves resistance and give regen/vampiric abilities to rebuild health.
30:43 well... if we discount the time to declare war on everybody, starting turns are usually pretty fast. You have an army, and maybe two settlements. Later, turns can be more than an hour long ordeals, becouse you had four battles, you need to move even more armies for defence or assault, and you need to check every god damn€d settlement you have.
about lightning strike: lets imagine a szenario with 2 armies for your side and 4 for the enemy side reinforcing each other, as long as you are the attacker you can use Lightning Strike to prevent reinforcements for both sides, meaning having a kind of fair fight, but there is a downside using lightning strike: Your Troops start the battle with reduced vigour, meaning worse performance in fights. In Warhammer 2 it was a necessity for higher difficulties because of the amount of armies the AI would field against you but in Warhammer 3 the AI isn't fielding nearly as many armies as it used to in the previous title Also in Warhammer 2 Lightning Strike actually debuffed the enemy leadership by -5 and only needing 6 skill points to reach in the skill tree of most lords, while being changed to needing 9 skill points (if my math isn't wrong lol) for having the added effect of delaying the enemy reinforcements for non lightning strike battles by 50% (sry for the wall of text, btw I really enjoy your reacts to the warhammer stuff :D)
Glad you're enjoying them! It does make sense for such a powerful ability to give you a small debuff, but it's likely very worth it overall. Thanks for the detailed explanation.
Man, his immortal empire campaigns sure are different from mine. I mean, i have no idea how long archaon lasts, but im pretty sure ive never seen him die in 5 turns. And ive never seen Alarielle whip out the sword.
Carl Franz was so strong because of 1) buffs 2) Gahl Maraz his legendary weapon and 3) Deathclaw, his legendary griffon mount which turns him from a strong melee lord into a flying melee monster with powerful anti-armor magic attacks
The Luminark of Hysh is essentially a giant cannon that gathers Light magic (The wind of which is called 'Hysh') and fires it in a concentrated blast. It is FILTHY powerful, but yeah it suffers from a great many issues such as price, difficulty to recruit, and can be pretty unwiedly in a fight. But it can one or two tap giants and other large monsters so, eh.
It would have been great if you got War Thunder to sponsor this video, because you could have essentially just Meta'ed the whole thing and used Kleaper's plug as your add. For reference, Belakor in canon, at least in 40k, jumped in at the last minute to screw over another guy wanting to become a chaos god, because he couldn't be one, I think he also did the same in fantasy, so it's fitting that right before Kleaper can achieve his goals Balakor jumps in to screw him over. Also someone on Kleaper's video commented something along the lines of "Becoming a new chaos god through nothing but sheer fire power and artillery seems fitting."
If you want to see doomstack vidoes then watch Okoii videos he makes 3 ish min videos with different factions where he just creates stupid op doomstacks
