@@JeffDalziel It all looks so different from above!! Really nice, thank you. Before making my home in West Oakland nearly 40 years, I grew up in these parts, and while that was happening there wasn't anything around there but a few farmhouses, walnut orchards, and ranches. Ygnacio Valley Road stopped at Oak Grove, too. You knew when it was walnut season because the kids came to school with their hands stained black from shucking walnuts! 😅It was SO COOL back then. Walnut Creek was really adorable. There were a whole lot of things for kids to do there too, that weren't even expensive. Boy, this Summer has had the nicest weather I can remember for about 60 years. I am loving it! It hasn't been BOILING hot out here. I hope you've been having a good one.
Berkeley born never want to leave, Walnut Creek has changed so much and so has Berkeley, I long for those days. Summer has thankfully not too hot. Oh and the Walnut Festival seemed to be bigger back then too@@silva7493

Hey, you're right down the street (and directly over the hill to your East) from me !!!😄

It is really expensive, it feels like a constant struggle.
