There isn't a single sportbike on the market equipped by the manufacturer with fully adjustable handlebars, commonly called "clip-ons". Luckily the aftermarket comes to the rescue.

The eloquence with which this guy speaks about motorcycles is as captivating as morgan freeman speaking about anything else. You just want to listen.

Hola! Quick question: when looking for aftermarket (riser) clip ons for a triumph 765rs, which has a showa BPF with a tapered outer fork tube, the fork starts tapering about 20mm below the top triple clamp. Almost all after market riser clip ons (apex/driven etc) seem to have a 40mm clamp, with 2-3 bolts to secure it on to the fork. What can one do in such a situation? Apex doesn't recommend installing them due to the taper since they say it doesn't offer enough clamping force, and clearly it doesn't since the bottom half is gripping air. But a lot of people seem to run them nevertheless, assuming the risk that comes with such an install. But is there a fix?

Excuse me, how to set the openness of the handle? What is the right choice? Thank you

The bar must fit in the center of your palm and to do that you move the bar back and forth. Sometimes that means the locating bolt to the upper triple clamp/yoke needs to be removed.

The claw hammer isn't a bad choice, of course, but conventional wisdom always calls for the biggest hammer that you have at hand at a given moment. I'd have gone with the 2lb engineer's hammer.
