This fight was cool and all but your missing the point this fight serves as character development for boruto...at first he didn't like his dad and thought the hokage was stupid and lazy but now he see Naruto In action and realizing he had to endure alot to reach that point and now he respect his dad and the hokage position

Hands down the best episode of Boruto. aside from that, i really liked how they didn't spout out every single jutsu name during the fight, made it much more epic to watch.

Dentyne As someone who gave this show a chance (and defended it against people that didn’t) the genin exams was ass. Shit was rushed as hell with lame ass characters. The only new, cool character introduced was Shinki and his fight vs Mitsuki was the only thing cold about. And what was especially garbage was how Metal Lee team was disqualified but that’s a whole different issue but I hate that Metal Lee was put on a team with trash. Sarada fight should’ve had more taijustu too
Honestly, this was way better animated than most of the actual shippuden fights. For the time of the actual time period, there really wasn't any way that It could even be fast paced. It's a time of "peace" and little ass terrorist groups wanna disturb things. There's not much that can really happen until now.
I agree, but they don't pay enough attention to the video .. Sometimes you see some series, like this one, with friends and you make comments, etc. But they turn their attention completely away from the video and that makes them miss very good scenes, in short, I only made my comment and from what I see, many of us think the same.
JetHawk222 there is more to the episode. And more to the fight. Boruto really gets some shine and a lil mystery for what's ahead. And it's not a bandwagon. If you a Naruto fan you should be a Boruto fan. The creator takes his time developing things that is why we connect with the characters more.
Reaction Ninja I read the Boruto manga so I already saw what happened and what's to come. To me I didn't really like the start of the Boruto anime although I understand because at the time the manga wasn't far and they needed to put filler to give the manga the time it needed to get ahead. As good as this one episode was I need to see more of that quality before I can start getting into the Boruto anime. But that's just me.

If you haven't actually watched Boruto and you're just watching fights and shit nothing is gonna change... watching and spending time with them is how you get to know them and care about them, just like with any other show. You will care about the new and old characters. I thought the same thing till I finally cracked and watched it..and even if you're only watching for old characters that's fine, you can still enjoy it.

The thing that I liked the most of this shodown ? The fact it stayed true to how the fight unfolded in the manga... it started with Super Momoshiki kicking asses, before getting beaten up by Naruto and Sasuke, then he got a 2nd chance thanks Katasuke, but ultimely Boruto kills him with the super rasengan, just like in the manga.

Nice reaction, but Boruto also shined in this episode. Also their have been a lot of good episodes in the series, Gaiden, Mitsuki backstory and Orochimaru vs Log. Nui vs Boruto, Chunin exams in particular Mitsuki vs Shinto and Boruto/Sarada vs Shinki. Doing the Naruto ova where he became Hokage and everyone vs Kakashi in the bell test. This was definitely the best episode though. It is on the slower side, but so are a lot of series I know.

Just because it's not as gloomy and gritty yet doesn't make it bad. It's an era of peace. They shouldn't be fighting to the death or doing any of this crazy shit at the moment. That's what makes it so great because you know all these spoiled little assholes in the show are about to get a ruuuuude awakening when shit hits the fan. We should all be patient and let the author do what he does best. He took care of us for over a decade with Naruto, the least we can do is give the guy a little time. It's not like he could hit the ground running like with Shippuden, that was a direct sequel with the exact same plot and characters. This one is going to take a little more time developing the foundation.

There have been some pretty good episodes in Boruto but I agree that the best episodes so far involve Naruto or Sasuke

Dentyne As someone who gave this show a chance (and defended it against people that didn’t) the genin exams was ass. Shit was rushed as hell with lame ass characters. The only new, cool character introduced was Shinki and his fight vs Mitsuki was the only thing cold about. And what was especially garbage was how Metal Lee team was disqualified but that’s a whole different issue but I hate that Metal Lee was put on a team with trash. Sarada fight should’ve had more taijustu too
Honestly, this was way better animated than most of the actual shippuden fights. For the time of the actual time period, there really wasn't any way that It could even be fast paced. It's a time of "peace" and little ass terrorist groups wanna disturb things. There's not much that can really happen until now.

Reaction Ninja I read the Boruto manga so I already saw what happened and what's to come. To me I didn't really like the start of the Boruto anime although I understand because at the time the manga wasn't far and they needed to put filler to give the manga the time it needed to get ahead. Nice reaction, but Boruto also shined in this episode. Also their have been a lot of good episodes in the series, Gaiden, Mitsuki backstory and Orochimaru vs Log. Nui vs Boruto, Chunin exams in particular Mitsuki vs Shinto and Boruto/Sarada vs Shinki. Doing the Naruto ova where he became Hokage and everyone vs Kakashi in the bell test. This was definitely the best episode though. It is on the slower side, but so are a lot of series I know.

That's what makes it so great because you know all these spoiled little assholes in the show are about to get a ruuuuude awakening when shit hits the fan. We should all be patient and let the author do what he does best. He took care of us for over a decade with Naruto, the least we can do is give the guy a little time.
