@@SoloRaijuYeah I grew up a huge DBZ fan. Watched Bleach, Death Note, Ninja scroll, Basilisk and a myriad of other Anime. DBZ was still my number 1...until I watched Naruto. It was such a good anime that I don't even enjoy most other anime because of it. It literally shaped my attitude towards life as a man and towards things like war, economic imbalances, poverty and so many more things. Naruto's character depth is amazing and the most layered character I've seen in Shonen (Sasuke) is like Vegeta but done right, with his own goals and resolve, not just a Naruto (Goku) obsession. It's essentially a show about child soldiers tbh, but very well told.

The fight with the best animation, the one where they fight without an OST and as giant beasts (the same fight), is an amazingly animated fight, but the emotion behind it is what makes it truly amazing. Its the the culmination of a long war and Naruto's efforts to end Sasukes self isolation, that's also the reason for the lack of an OST during the fight, its supposed to be finale to all the show has lead up to.

I love how there are no fights that have an emotional or context/plot related knowledge needed to really appreciate them, like Madara's or Kakashi vs Obito, which are gems that you need to discover through watching the series to appreciate them.
Naruto was my first ever real anime (not counting Pokémon) so I’m glad to see you reacting to the fights! I’d definitely go and watch some of these fights in full, for example naruto and Sasuke vs momoshiki and sakura and chiyo vs sasori are two I’d highly recommend. The momoshiki fight is pretty short so you could probably make a video of it without cutting too much.

Not to be rude but if you are talking about the 4 tails named son goku, both shows referenced something else. I'm pretty sure it was a Japanese legend but dont quote me on that. I dont recall any other references but if there is something I missed please let me know.
If you haven't already, absolutely commit to Naruto. It's one of the most emotionally-heavy series, it has so many great moments, too many to list off or put into one compilation video. All those good fights you saw don't even scratch the surface, I can think 10 other fights that are easily S tier fights at least.
The thing that made Naruto above others is the choreography in the fight scenes. There's no "gif" punching each other's until they died type of fight, so every fight are refreshing to say the least. Hope you start watching Naruto ngl, it will hit deeper if you know the context.
Replying a lot here, but there are two major and very deep themes that run through Naruto, literally from the first chapter/episode to the last. The first is, hatred begets hatred, revenge begets revenge, violence only breeds more violence. The Cycle of Hatred drives the world. How to you break the cycle, how do you find peace and a way forwards, against all the injustice and suffering standing in your way? And the second, the ninja system sees ninja as disposable tools, emotionless killing machines built out of literal children, to be used until broken and then discarded. How do you reclaim your humanity and find a reason to live against such an awful and broken way of life? Show me where DBZ or One Piece touches themes that deep and powerful.

i use to be a diehard DBZ but during covid i had a chance to watch all of Naruto and i can definitely say i was worth it. everything makes alot more sense
Best Naruto's fights, I think, are : First and final Naruto vs Sasuke, Naruto vs Toneri and Naruto vs Isshiki. The animation is so smooth and powerful😍
Sasuke vs Orochimaru should've been first on the list as it was the first fluid animation awesome battle we truly saw in the show which set the tone for amazing battles in the entire anime. Naruto vs Haku could also be added but that was less martial arts and more demon fox brute power. The of course it's criminal that Rock Lee vs Gaara or Kimimaru weren't here. Naruto vs Orochimaru could also have made the list, Sasuke vs Itachi of course and a host of other best battles. Definitely all better than Naruto vs Neji if we're talking about best fights as opposed to battles that had the most narrative weight (which would require context Solo doesn't have).

Kinda not really. Toriyama hated Vegeta whereas Kishimoto's favorite character is Sasuke. Major difference in how these characters are portrayed, Sasuke is much, much cooler.

The contex of the fights is really important, unlike Dragon Ball usually they don't fight with simply evil dudes to save a day, villains are herose who lost their path, they are broken people who have suffered a lot, who lost their loved ones and they genuinly want to make the world a better place for people (you can check out Madara's speach about the reality), but they think that some evil deeds are necessry for the greater good. Relations between characters and their motivations is one thing, but the context of the way they fight is also important, technics they use are rooted deeply in the plot and in their character development, at the end they are using the same technics they learnt at the very beginning but they improved them and got the mastery in using them. Knowing all of this allows you to see how many details are in those fights (like Sasuke constantly preventing Naruto from making a sign with his hands). You can see how far they have come.

I watched DBZ as a teen back in the 90's and stated watching Naruto when I was in the Navy in my 20's. Vegeta as my favorite from DBZ and I have a tendancy to like those types of characters from animes and Sasuke was my favorite from Naruto so I think it's fun you keep referencing Goku and Vegeta for Naruto and Sasuke.
Dragonball, One Piece, Naruto are all on par when it comes to OST, they all got this feeling I don't know, I listen to them all the time while reading manga

Naruto/Sasuke vs Momoshiki has to be my fav fight in all of Naruto. Its just so good. That very first fight between sasuke and naruto though is the best animated fight in og Naruto I grew up on DBZ but i like naruto better i think. Better moments that made me cry. Better music imo too

DB(the entire series) was my first anime. Naruto became the staple of anime for me when i first started to watch/read it in 2001( I was only 5 then) and it got me hooked ever since. DB is amazing dont get me wrong. But to put the two anime on the same "level" is like saying a BMW and a Lamborghini is the same. They are two totally different cars for two totally different purposes. Naruto is a MUST WATCH anime for anyone. It is the staple for modern-day anime. Majority of anime wont make it big unless it is anything like Naruto. Watch the entirety of the series and then tell me the resemblance from most major anime today.
As someone raised by DBZ fans, Naruto has a chance of surpassing your love for DBZ no lie with how goofy yet sick powers and fights get along with (in my opinion) a way better narrative satisfaction after watching the length of the series, ontop of peak fights like these

idk if you do music reactions but you should ABSOLUTELY do a Naruto OST's reaction video. They kick so much ass. Watch the show at some point, it's really good as long as you skip the fillers. This show, like One Piece, is the type where you need to react to more than one episode at a time or you'll be releasing Naruto vids for like the next 5 years

I would say that was only a handful of some of the best fights in the entire series if your including Boruto and it didn’t even show a full scene!! It’s a CRIME they left out Lee vs Gaara or Gai vs Madara, Obito vs Kakashi.. several more definitely worth the watch!! Huge Dragonball fan as well
I know this is narutos fights, but there are a lot more amazing fights as well without naruto in them, sasuke v deidra, rocke lee v garra, sasuke v B, kakashi v obito to name a few.
I Love Dragon ball so much. It is the Anime of my childhood. AOT is also awesome and Bleach rullez so hard but, there is no better Anime than Naruto. Specially in terms of storry. Shippuden is like Cell Saga but to fully understand it you must watch everything from the start. It is so so worth it!
@SoloRaiju for me, cell saga is the best part of db. Gohan at his top. It is emotional so satisfying seeing the final. Same goes for Shippuden, the best part of Naruto, but it loses a lot if you skipp the beginning.

I’m also a huge db franchise fan especially dbs but a lil context. 3:00 his eyes are like that bc of a bloodline trait just like how goku and vageta are sayians. If he uses his blood line trade, his eyes became like that. And also for 5:30 that would be like goku and vegeta if those two were against beerus working together

I would recommend watching this anime. Good character development and the only downside is the fillers is a good 55% of the show. Some of the fillers are super cool and I think you will really love Pervy Sage
Before I watched Bleach, Naruto was my favorite anime (besides Boruto), but when I rewatch these fights I remember so much crazy and deep emotions I lived through the whole anime. Watched and waited each episode and each manga since 2003. Manga especially was something else. The plot imo is the best in all of animes I watched. Until Boruto started... But Bleach still keeps it up and becomes even better. I also watched DBZ and DBS and liked it, but never watched One Piece. Tried some episodes but it didn't catch me :/

Dragonball, One Piece, Naruto are all on par when it comes to OST, they all got this feeling I don't know, I listen to them all the time while reading manga

Naruto/Sasuke vs Momoshiki has to be my fav fight in all of Naruto. Its just so good. That very first fight between sasuke and naruto though is the best animated fight in og Naruto

DB(the entire series) was my first anime. Naruto became the staple of anime for me when i first started to watch/read it in 2001( I was only 5 then) and it got me hooked ever since. DB is amazing dont get me wrong. But to put the two anime on the same "level" is like saying a BMW and a Lamborghini is the same. They are two totally different cars for two totally different purposes. Naruto is a MUST WATCH anime for anyone. It is the staple for modern-day anime. Majority of anime wont make it big unless it is anything like Naruto. Watch the entirety of the series and then tell me the resemblance from most major anime today.
I think you just need more context then you'll enjoy all the fights a lot more. Naruto is definitely one of the best animes.
As someone raised by DBZ fans, Naruto has a chance of surpassing your love for DBZ no lie with how goofy yet sick powers and fights get along with (in my opinion) a way better narrative satisfaction after watching the length of the series, ontop of peak fights like these

Watch the show at some point, it's really good as long as you skip the fillers. This show, like One Piece, is the type where you need to react to more than one episode at a time or you'll be releasing Naruto vids for like the next 5 years

I would say that was only a handful of some of the best fights in the entire series if your including Boruto and it didn’t even show a full scene!! It’s a CRIME they left out Lee vs Gaara or Gai vs Madara, Obito vs Kakashi.. several more definitely worth the watch!! Huge Dragonball fan as well

I Love Dragon ball so much. It is the Anime of my childhood. AOT is also awesome and Bleach rullez so hard but, there is no better Anime than Naruto. Specially in terms of storry. Shippuden is like Cell Saga but to fully understand it you must watch everything from the start. It is so so worth it!

@SoloRaiju for me, cell saga is the best part of db. Gohan at his top. It is emotional so satisfying seeing the final. Same goes for Shippuden, the best part of Naruto, but it loses a lot if you skipp the beginning.

I tend to recommend DBZ as a first intro to the big 4 (I grew up on DBZ, so it is 4), then bleach, then Naruto, and lastly, one piece.

I would recommend watching this anime. Good character development and the only downside is the fillers is a good 55% of the show. Some of the fillers are super cool and I think you will really love Pervy Sage

Before I watched Bleach, Naruto was my favorite anime (besides Boruto), but when I rewatch these fights I remember so much crazy and deep emotions I lived through the whole anime. Watched and waited each episode and each manga since 2003. Manga especially was something else. The plot imo is the best in all of animes I watched. Until Boruto started... But Bleach still keeps it up and becomes even better.
I also watched DBZ and DBS and liked it, but never watched One Piece. Tried some episodes but it didn't catch me :/
