- PAI THAILAND | Located 3 hours from Chiang Mai, a visit to Pai is a must-do when exploring Northern Thailand. What was once a true hidden-gem to the backpacker community of Thailand, has grown over the years to an established tourist destination. Though Pai is still considered a small town, it welcomes travellers far and wide year round due to it's beautiful mountainous views, wellness scene and it's lively streets. We explore Pai over 48 hours to see why this destination has become a must-visit in Thailand.

Over 48 hours we explore the best of Pai, Northern Thailand. We visit the famous Bamboo Bridge and one of the many vegan-friendly cafes in Pai, Earth Tone. During the evening we take a wander down Pai's famous Walking Street. The next morning Cory explores some of the beautiful viewpoints of Pai, as well as a mountainside coffee stop. Later, we visit a hot spring and a road side geyser! We finish our trip to Pai with a visit to the incredible Big Buddha, before watching the sunset at Pai Canyon.

@@cjexplores we got stuck in what they call the "Pai Hole" where we was meant to stay for a few days and ended up staying just over a week! It was perfect to relax and get into a bit of a routine after hectic 3 weeks of backpacking :)
@tomandlaurentravel we’ve heard of this Pai Hole!! 🤣🤣 sounds perfect though. We are currently having a bit of a break on the islands after a month of pretty full on travel! We road tripped from Chiang Mai down to Phuket! You guys still here somewhere?
@@cjexplores very nice! We started from the south (Krabi) and worked our way up north to Pai. Just left Hanoi in Vietnam, taking it steady as Hanoi is a place like no other 🤣
