Dude these bosses on legendary make it like a high octane doom level. You can’t stop moving against the last three. You have to use utilization of all power ups. Borders on Halo2 difficulty.
Last three? I couldn’t stop moving on any of them after the first xD
It’s great that Halo figured out boss fights. I love the challenge. I spent like an hour and a half fighting the Brute Bros.
I stole the Chopper, but it blew up almost immediately every time.
The monitor was the only fight I found to be easy. Even the first one was more difficult.
The game really took me out my element. I usually hang back and do mid to long range combat. But Bassus, Escharum, and The Harbinger all kept me on my toes. Their hammers all one shotted me so I had to move quickly and think quicker to win

The one shot hammers and the fact that Esch just teleports when he jumps. Fantastic boss fight. 343 did good.
@@ronin7561 I killed bassus by accidentally hopping on a doorway, and staying in that spot while he stared at me

Well, the Ring he was on at the time was incomplete, so one may not have been ready for him.
People were complaining about the Jega fight being too easy, but the whole point is that you’re in a tight space fighting an active camo enemy. If you spam the treat sensor that covers half the battleground, it kinda takes away the whole purpose of the fight because you’re just gonna know exactly where he is. 😂
But you don’t think about that during the battle because obviously the more it carries on - the more it forces you to understand your actions with his, so it’s simple to arrange those actions and retaliations into a “fight”

Not just beat it but have Boss Fight video compilation videos uploaded to YT. lol... but he said Microsoft gave him a copy early. So he was probably sitting on the videos until his embargo was lifted.

Dang with how wild they got the bosses going I wonder how they’ll make the Red vs Blue series if they could continue it with the halo system.
Just saying it has a lot of fun potential with the amount of systems worked in.
On some of these bosses on legeandary they can either take you minutes to kill or hours from dying over and over again from missions that could probably be beat in a nice timely manner
A legendary alternative dialogue where the leader asked what Spartan meant would have made me clap.

Whenever you get the cutscene where Jega is introduced while the hologram has the child disturbing, it almost changes the generl from sci-fi to horror

I played on heroic but I didn’t upgrade my shields because I thought it might make it too easy.

That elite with two energy swords is a real pain in the *** to fight. Love the rest of the boss fights
For me he was the easiest cause he was one of the only last 3 bosses I beat first try 😂

Halo having good boss fight for once, who are you and what have you done with 343?
I wish infinite had things you could pick up like in halo 3. Like imagine throwing a power drain, bubble shield or regeneration shield. I also miss the thermite grenades from 3 that those invisible brutes used to drop. Weapons like the needler rifle, carbine, beam rifle, the OG plasma rifle with the red brute variant, spartan laser, SMG, fuel rod gun and brute shot need to come back lol. I’m also hearing about the DMR possibly making a return and I’m all for it.
I bet everyone playing on heroic or legendary tbagged the bosses after defeating them.

Ngl when I defeated the bosses (especially ones like blade master) I would instantly save quit and than rejoin since it was a laso start.

@@jacob7649 He's almost correct. They can legit 1-2 shot you depending on their move. For example the first Boss with the Hydra can three shot you legit with the rockets. Esherum (I think that's his name?) can literally one shot you within 50 meters or a little less because he's fast as fuck and his grav hammer has **stupid** range.
The stealth elite has WAAAY too many shields for Legendary. The game was mostly bullshit free until that asshole showed up. Call me old, but in my day an overcharged plasma pistol shot took out shield, no ands ifs or buttocks. Now plasma weapons seem to be useless against shielded enemies. This goes totally against the rules of Halo.

The only problem I had had with chaklok boss fight is that I always used the coils when I got close he was easy though even on heroic 💀

Escherum was way harder to beat than the harbinger and the hunters, I was stressing the fuck out lol

At least in normal, the hunters gave me much more trouble than either the Blademaster and Escherum, maybe i will change my mind in higher difficults

One thing I hope 343 dose with Halo infinite in the future is they go back to the ark and show us the spirit of fire crew in the spirit of Fire and show us what happened to them immediately after Anders disappearance and the events leading up to Halo infinite cuz I knew we got the resolution what happened to them in a book but to me that's unsatisfying

Just beat the game on heroic. Some of these bosses were a bitch to beat. Even fighting just 2 hunters took me awhile.

I normally don't comment twice, but the Spartan Hunters are easy to beat, just hook and hijack the Brute chopper of the first one, than go to TOWN on them. Also, the Cheif Brute was taken out FAST, WHAT THE MERP

lol I wish I saw this earlier. New player trying all halo games on heroic and only have infinite to go (plus halo wars 1 and 2 if I feel like it), I just needler spammed Tremonius and tried to ignore those damn jackals. Out of my 7 deaths before victory, the jackals were responsible for 5 of them

Yeah I was gonna say this has to be on normal or even easy cause I'm on legendary and it'll it only takes like 2 rounds and you're dead It's the one thing I don't like about the game is all the boss battles master chief has to run like a little girl and grapple in a circle it's all in a circle instead of just being able to fight they give all the bosses these crazy weapons and you literally have to run From every boss in the game
