Dave, if you go into the vehicles settings on the main display, you can set the car to automatically lock when you walk away from it. You're going to love that feature.

Only have refilled my new CX-5 Touring once, so take that with a grain of salt. Did lots of research prior to buying this car..Wife, even made an excel spreadsheet to compare Outback, Rav 4 and CX-5. There is little to no road noise.. Plus most of us listen to music anyways.. Wish it had a little more cargo room, and memory seats, but I can't complain for the price, technology package included. Love the power, where power is needed, smooth ride and look. FYI, free navigation updates for 3 years. Bose stereo sounds incredible and now don't mind being stuck in traffic! Test drive one, you won't be disappointed. One more thing, read and watch all the popular review forums, sites, youtube. They are not being paid to praise how well Mazda has done on their 2016 CX-5.

Love this new titanium flash mica color. I've always had a thing for the CX-5 as far as crossovers go. I honestly wish these little mini SUVs would come with a 6 cylinder, especially this being a Mazda, a brand that thrives on speed. If not a V6, maybe a turbo charged 4cy that gets the same HP as a V6

Yes, I agree its very frustrating as I am in the market for a 2016 model possibly. I did speak with a dealer and they said they have only done a "soft launch" which is why there is hardly any official information available on the website. I would assume this would be so they can try to clear out as many of the 2015 models as they can.
Love everything about this car, except the backseats. They are so tight compared to the CR-V, RAV4, Forester, Rogue. As you can see on the video, they can't fold completely flat without moving the front seats toward. They don't even recline for more comfort for the passengers. I guess the good styling of the CX-5 really compromises its interior space. No wonder why it doesn't sell well like the competitions even though it has a superior handling and sporty driving dynamic.
drodzmarquez This CUV does come with a rear camera and a blind spot sensor though. These days, I have yet to see an SUV, especially a CUV with good rear visibility. What's up with that!

Hyundai and KIA now make the highest quality and most reliable cars in the auto industry. I highly recommend getting the 2016 Hyundai Tucson which has a more modern attractive design and superior power-to-weight ratio compared to the Mazda CX-5.

To all the comments that indicating Hyundai/Kia is over Japanese cars, I have one question to ask: How much did Hyundai pay you to leave the fake comments? But there is one thing you guys forgot to mention which is why Korean cars come with a 10 years warranty because their quality is BAD, not because they have the confidence to last over 10 years. Now try a Honda and Toyota, you will see why Japanese cars are still the number 1 in the economic car market.
I think that this CUV it's over rated. Mi sister drives one and the ride it's very stiff and rough, specially in bad roads. The high point it's in the fuel consumption, really shines in MPGs. The backseat space and cargo its tight too. But it's a good car for those that only looks for a "sporty" driving CUV.
Can you do a video on just how leg room is calculated? Not one good image/document out there. For example, corolla has more leg room than Rav... but Rav obviously feels more comfortable..
Just picked up my new 2016 CX5 today here in Canada , Mine seems to have the holders for that cargo area pull-out screen but its not present, ,any idea if they are supposed to be a standard option?
Dave on my 2013 S4 the electronic parking brake goes off automatically when in gear as long as your seatbelt is on. Should be the case with this truck as well. True?
Matthew Miller I can just about guarantee the Mazda will be bigger and better than the Kia. One of Kia's best asset though (other than the ev aspect) is the infotainment system.
tabbycats5 they only fold flat when the front seats move forward. In other market like Asia, the headrests are smaller compared to the US, making the backseats easier to fold flat. I don't know why Mazda made gigantic headrests for the US market.
The CX 5 is about fuel economy and drivability. The flat six has two more cylinders so of course it's faster, the flat 4 with which the CX5 competes is much slower

For 2016, when you see a CX-5 with the darkened headlights like the one in the video, those have HIDs and LED brake, and running lights.

why didnt they update the dash properly.. a cars dash is the first thing to age and it shows in the CX5

For me Outback 3.6 flat 6 with boxers all day long over this. Why get this when you have a Porsche like engine for a similar price range
