I was worried that I would have to brace the engine somehow to remove and replace the torque arm but this video showed me just how easy the swap is. Thank you!
Thank you for the instructions, but to add to your list of vehicles, this is also the same for the 2001 Toyota Sienna Van. Though the part is the same, location the same, the van has more room, so it kinda looks a bit different by location, but it's exact. Thanks for the help!
What about the rubber dust cover? No one seems to sell this item and no one talks about it. I thought it was to deflect dirt and debris and keeping the mount from wearing out prematurely?
Mine was off by the diameter of the long bolt when trying to install so I had to use a pry bar to get it to align. I am guessing that it could mean other mounts are bad too?

Great video, but... If your holes don't line up, you are in for a long day! To line up the holes, you have to use pry bars (I hear) and move the motor around.
Pep Boys Miami charged us 300 USD plus dollars for doing this work in 2022 on my old son's car. I thought I have to lift the motor for doing this, that's why we accept the charge. I will remember this Pep Boys. Never again!
+syed aziz Thank you for checking us out. Yes you will want to support the engine with a jack and piece of wood between the jack and the lift point to ensure the pressure is relieved and replacement goes smooth. 1aauto.com
how important is it to support the engine for this mount since it is on top and the engine is being supported by the other mounts.. also how important is torquing it

You saved me $300 to get this changed ❤ 🙏 Thank You 1A 🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
47 ft/pnd torque, that s what I was looking for. Great, thank you so much! 👍
Easy Peasy! Thank You! We appreciate it!
Great video!Any chance you could do a video on the rear motor mount or transmission mount?
I noticed you didn't support the motor with a floor jack to replace mount. Is it necessary to do that first on this type of car?

Is this process similar on V6 Camry models for the same year?

I add Epoxy on the inside of the empty spaces of the mount to prevent future failure so far has done me well for the past 6 years
For a 1995 Toyota Camry, does the offset arm side face the engine, too?

anyone know the size of the bolts for these? Thanks in advance. :)
Can I do this without the torque wrench?
does it need to be jacked up?
So the ARM \ goes towards the ENGINE & not closer to coolant bottle ??
I Got a 03 camry.juat changed this piece out. Is the torque apecs for the bolt tye same,47 ft lbs?
+TheDcrocks1 It may be around there, but you would want to find out for sure and use the spec for your vehicle. Thanks! 1AAuto.com
I feel confident I can do this one.
What brand of torque wrench and range do you recommend?
Could you post a video on how to do the rear motor and transmission mount on 97 Camry?

Do we need to support the engine with jack?, please reply. I Intend to do it myself

Where is the best location underneath the motor to place the jack for support?
Al H under the oil pan with a piece if wood And if your doing the one under the drivers side lift from the trans pan

God..Midas gave me the estimate of 199 to do this. Good that I did not decide impulsively on getting it done.
Wow, just replaced mine yesterday for less than 20 bucks.
Midas are thefts just professional ones
its called a torque strut.
Thanks for the comment and watching ! +Frijo1
