Man. What a mother. You can tell she was a really Good mother. Her daughter finished high school. And to lose her less than a year later is just to much to deal with. God bless her and her family.
And no one said anything. A lot of those people know who the shooters are. Safe Streets knows who those shooters are. If the community itself isn't willing to change, even after the shooting, whats the point of all this?

Nothing has changed. Rip to those that died
I don't live in the area but via the internet I keep up with politics in DC and Baltimore. One area of interest for me is MONSE and DC's "Violence Interrupters." My interest was peaked when I saw an interview by a VI in DC. His plan was to play music all day, very loudly, in a crime ridden neighborhood. His reason for doing so was in case a young person had a problem they could run towards the music. McKenzie has done an excellent, albeit frustrating, job of trying to get information from the mayor about where and when these highly paid employees actually work. There appears to be little to no oversight or detailed records kept about their activity.
First off, my prayers and thoughts for those affected by this insanity.
Man the words “safe streets” and “violence interrupters” just blows me away and what really is devastating is the millions and millions allotted for such programs. Cmon man. There’s been no good data supporting any growth and success from this. I’ve seen numerous safe streets employees involved in gang and criminal activity, numerous other employees murdered on the job! It’s because it’s just another criminal organization. Period. Cmon mannnnn these people are laughing their way to the bank selling dope and getting a check from Baltimore city government smh
