I always wonder why there's built-in speaker on projector. most TV users don't buy soundbar or speakers of course it's logical to have built-in speaker. But you don't buy a $4000 projector if you don't have at least a 5.1 set-up at home. they could cut cost on audio and improve other things.

I bought my Hisense L9G after Chris posted about it months ago and it really is amazing!!! It took a few weeks to be delivered but it was so easy to setup. Thanks again for an amazing review and my family has been so happy watching movies, sports and video games on 120 inch The Hisense L9G!!!!
Hi Chris, will you be comparing the Hisense px1-pro to the L9G anytime soon :)? Really appreciate your reviews!!! They made me move from the LG to the Hisense :D!!!
You call this outstanding do you like waisting your time on products that eventually gas white dots every two years and bulbs goes out also laser too. I truly hate projectors
I think here you made a big mistake with Xgimi Aura. When you tested it you gave 6.5 SDR and 6.0 for color and 9.0 for Black. Here you reduced your scores down to 5.0 for color and 8.0 for Black. Doing so Hisense is the winner but if you replace your original scores than the Aura would get a total 69.5, being the winner in its category.
was there other projectors you would wait for coming out this year? I've been tempted to go short throw over a TV but have heard they arnt as good. could you shed some light on TV vs projector? thanks
If you were picking, would you go with the Hisense L9G or the Benq 7050i? Is HDMI 2.1 and eARC support enough to justify the price difference for someone who has a Samsung HW-Q950T who would be using a projector solely for tv show and sports viewing and movie watching? No gaming on it.
All I wanna know is out of all of these, which ones support 3D? I have plenty of 3D media and would love to still be able to view them as my original 3D plasma tv is currently out of commission 😔
how is the lg hu85 today vs the samsung premiere? is the samsung so much better or would be the lg hu85 still a good choice today? Becaus the lg one is selled now for almost 4k.
Was hoping you would have included the Hisense PX1-Pro which runs at 3500 and has received excellent reviews. Hoping you can make a video on this some day and compare it to the Benq 7050i. Also, can you do a video comparing UST screens? I think screens are often overlooked and misunderstood.

@chris Majestic, Are the scores relative to the price category, or are they absolute across all categories? Meaning is a score of 75 in the sub 2000 higher than a score of 74 in over 4000?
Hi Chris, There's an ls500B i've seen going for a great price and it says it is 4k. does this one have the bonuses of the ls500 you mentioned in the video with a 4k output?
A question about the L9G ALR screen, do you think it is easy to install or even move? my situation is that I am moving around and would need to move all the projector and screens, etc. The projector is fine, but how about the screen, I am worrying that moving and reinstalling brings as much inconvenience as a large TV does.
Another great informative video. Thinking about getting the Hisense L5. One question, let's say the table tge projector sits on gets bumped. Or the wife moves the projector while cleaning, do you have to reset or recalibrate everything again?

Hi Chris. Have you checked out the AWOL 3500. The specs look great, but I wanted to know your thoughts on it.
And which one is the best over all in picture quality?
Especially for films in the dark room.
So contrast, black level, sharpness etc.
What happened to the Formovie laser projector. It won some awards last year. Is it not a good one to get?
I really like your videos and just subscribed after watching 3 in a row!
Thanks for your video, question: Can I mount a short throw projector to the ceiling?
How long do these last.?
an what about the Mi 4K Laser Projector 150 from xiaomi? not the full hd version but the 4k
I had to rescale after setting the scoring for everything. The Xgimi video was my first attempting at creating a scoring system.
For outdoor with full of sunlights, which one u will recommend?
was there other projectors you would wait for coming out this year? I've been tempted to go short throw over a TV but have heard they arnt as good. could you shed some light on TV vs projector? thanks
Tvs are smaller, lol
@@johnspencer8982 that's it? Quality is basically the same ?
Just buy one for ~900 and try it out for 30 days
If you were picking, would you go with the Hisense L9G or the Benq 7050i? Is HDMI 2.1 and eARC support enough to justify the price difference for someone who has a Samsung HW-Q950T who would be using a projector solely for tv show and sports viewing and movie watching? No gaming on it.
How about the best picture with the shortest throw?
All I wanna know is out of all of these, which ones support 3D? I have plenty of 3D media and would love to still be able to view them as my original 3D plasma tv is currently out of commission 😔
how is the lg hu85 today vs the samsung premiere? is the samsung so much better or would be the lg hu85 still a good choice today? Becaus the lg one is selled now for almost 4k.
Have you spoken to Awol to get one of theirs? Or are they too scared to send you one?
Chris, which of these projectors allows you to get closest to the wall? I have a 13” wall shelf that I’d like to have a projector on is that possible?
Was hoping you would have included the Hisense PX1-Pro which runs at 3500 and has received excellent reviews. Hoping you can make a video on this some day and compare it to the Benq 7050i.
Also, can you do a video comparing UST screens? I think screens are often overlooked and misunderstood.
Yes the early reviews so far looked fantastic for the px1 pro, Can't wait for more in depths reviews as I'm seriously considering it
@@dshawnspjute6305 What kind of screen would you be using for it?
@@Level7Beats I'll probably get the Akia 103" CLR 3 Screen its like $800 or I might just go up to one of the bigger sizes but they are $1,000 but they are highly rated , I know vava has a 100" alr screen for $650 that looked good in a review video
I ordered the Xgimi Aura. Had the Optoma P2 but for $3000+, I demanded better built in soundbar, lower input lag, Android, and 150 in projection. *If Xgimi & VAVA can do it (At a Cheeper price too), then I will accept NO excuses from Optoma,*
I bought the Samsung LSP 9T and i'm very happy about it. Spend more money means also, get a better product.
Hey Chris what is the best valued screen to purchase for the Samsung short throw Lsp9t? I currently have a grey wall for now, will this color wall work also?
Hey Chris would you recommend the ls300 over the Hisense 120 5g? Looking for brightness and picture quality for my living room. I got the vava and was not happy with it.
If brightness is your biggest goal you won’t be let down with the epson
For video quality, would you pick LG HU85, Samsung LSP9T or Cinemax 2? Or another?
Where does the Hisense PX1 Pro fall on this list ??
Just came across this channel looking for info on the LG HU715QW. I think it came out after this video, so it isn't in here (wait, is it out yet?). Let us know when you get your hands on one, please.
is there a brighter ust which is 4k or better 6000lumen ?
Hi Chris, can you please make a video on NEC NEC NP-PX1005QL-W 4K UHD, 1. Can this be used as a home theater? 2. does it has too much fan noise? 3. Is it too bright for home use?
Which is a better projector to buy - Xgimi Aura or Xiaomi mijia 4k laser projector
Hello chris i am watching your channels very carefully. Thanks for everything.
Just i want to ask u what do you think about optoma uhz65ust?
Or can u advice this or where you can put this product in the list?danke
Hi Chris, can you recommend a 4K UST projector with Google TV (aka. app support)?
Do you have all those numbers somewhere that I could see them side by side? Great video by the way! I ended up getting the BenQ and I've been pretty happy with it.
Would love to see these as well. There were a few that were in each category that weren't the winner/runner up that I would still like to compare with those that won.
@@chrisclark5392 personally I'd like to apply my own weighting to his own categories to see if it changes who won for each group. Have a feeling it's not happening due to it being a couple of days :/
Are there cheaper short throw projectors? Not over $1000
i am looking to buy a ust with a good screen, around 3k budget. i have listed hisense 100lg5 and optoma p2. criteria: medium to heavy gaming, 4k movies and good build warranty. Ok to compromise on built-in speakers. please suggest a third option, if that beats the 2 i have mentioned.
Hey man
What do you think about the HP liquid cool short throw ? Thanks
Which one has the best dark level ?
I can’t see anything in black scenes for my project …
@chris Majestic, Are the scores relative to the price category, or are they absolute across all categories?
Meaning is a score of 75 in the sub 2000 higher than a score of 74 in over 4000?
Do you make laser 150 4k review?
O: You should call your ranking the ChrisScore. Sorta like the DougScore but for projectors 😅
Never heard of this whole DougScore thing until today 😂😂
how would these two compare? the Samsung The Premiere LSP9T compare to the Sony’s VPL-VW295ES?
I hope these keen on getting better and cheaper. I would love to have one instead of a TV at home
what camera are you using to record this? looks good man!
Rocking the P2 (120inch screen) + PS5
Any chance we can get some calibration settings for the P2? Thanks in advance
Is there any USTs that you dont like
Hi Chris. Have you heard or experienced the quality of the ACER L811? I cannot find reviews anywhere?
