Nice to see that the wood is pretty sound in this block. I’m guessing that it’s a fairly small chopper that is doing the yarding. I was pretty lucky in my Heli career mostly bucking for the Air Crane and Chinook so the lengths were considerably bigger. Nice work out there Bjarne ✊
Yes sir, another banger of a show. Lov the content. So the ripper peice, you buck the log to lenght and then they fly it that way or do you rip it first before the fly?
The straps prevent the tree from splitting when it hits the ground. Depending on the length and size of the tree, determines the number of logs bucked. I use a “weight card” to tell me what length to make a log.
Another great session by the wise man Master B.

Making us wait for that big Cedar aye Bjarne? I was looking forward to it then checked the time stamp and went Bugger not going to see it today 😊
All appears your aim is perfect
That first tree hit another one and was swinging like 50-60f across!!!!...wow!!
Pretty work!

Yes it is ripped lengthwise then flown in two pieces
Just stand on da end start boooouncing 🥳🥳🥳
When you say “rip” to me that means cut length wise. So does some else come in later and “rip” as on that 16meter you just fell.
How did the clear Yellow Cedar axe handle work out?
Bjarne , do you have to pay to stay on the barge ? Is it like a room and board thing ?
WHAT DO THE STRAPS MEAN HOW MANY LOGS YOUR SUPPOSE TO GET FROM THE TREE? mAYBE HOW FAR UP THE TREE YOUR SUPPOSE TO START CUTTING?
