    Good info! Question, I have the XSP-1 gen 2 running a 2 channel set up would you bypass the LFE on the Sub would you work off of the line output crossovers on the pre along with the cross over on the sub? New to subs any ideas would be welcomed.. thank you!

    What about the High Pass Filter on the SE8? Never mentioned and pretty unique for a sub in that price range?

    Great info! I just ordered an xs8 sub for my pc set up. I'm using a set of kanto tuk powered speakers with a sub out. Can you give me an idea of how to set the various adjustments with this set up?? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! 💯!!!

    My 702 S2 say: -6dB at 28Hz and 33kHz. What would you suggest for a crossover setting? I think my Anthem AV70 room correction picks a crossover point but not sure how good it is.

    Ok I’m a bit confused, my 2 channel system is a Emotiva PT100 and a Emotiva RS11 sub is it ok for me to use a single subwoofer cable or do I have to use a dual cable to get best results thanks!

    • @EmotivaAudioCorp
      @EmotivaAudioCorp  ปีที่แล้ว

      You have it connected correctly with the single cable.

    How much power is consumed from the main amp when using the High Level inputs?
    My amp only has an LFE output that has a set crossover point, so I would like a sub that has High Level inputs. Unfortunately, I'm pushing my amp kind of hard already, and I don't want to add any extra stress to my amp.
    Thanks.

    • @madcrabber1113
      @madcrabber1113 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Since this is a powered sub the high level inputs only need signal not power so your amp will not be pushed any harder.

  • @madcrabber1113
    @madcrabber1113 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Why not put the inputs that are on the cheaper subs also on the more expensive ones? love the high pass on the SE.

    Is 15 ft too long for an RCA Sub Cable? A lot of Cable manufacturer sell that length specifically for subs. Thanks!

    • @EmotivaAudioCorp
      @EmotivaAudioCorp  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      15 ft should be fine for a subwoofer but the longer the RCA connection, the more there is an opportunity to introduce noise.

    • @ChrisCeeKayKelley
      @ChrisCeeKayKelley 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@EmotivaAudioCorp Thanks. I knew about the longer lengths introducing noise but then I was wondering why so many people make that length. I guess it's to be able to situate your subwoofer where you need it in the room but then again, 15 ft is a little long for an RCA cable but thank you for reassuring me that it should be fine.

      @@ChrisCeeKayKelley Use a SHIELDED RCA cable, it should prevent noise from getting in the signal.
