I met a lady who told me she made her own "vitamin" using herbs and a lot mentioned here is what she used. I never knew you could do that! So glad to see you had information on it.

Thank you for such a wonderfully informative video. I have been making my own mixes for my herb teas for over thirty years. I do not take vitamin pills, except for vitamin E. i have all the ones you mentioned in this video as well as another forty or fifty others. I have a really good tasting tea that I make at night and let steep til morning. I put a mix of horsetail, jasmine green tea, holy basil, red raspberry leaf, hibiscus flowers, rose hips, orange peel and cinnamon and add this to a quart of boiled water. I add a little honey after I strain it in the morning and that is my drink for the day. I also make a green drink in the morning with lemon and water and dried barley grass, I add a little cayenne and turmeric and a tiny bit of sea salt then add a bit of honey. All this to a quart of water. Herbs are so good for us. If more people only used them, they would be so much healthier.

It is never too late. Dr. John Christopher said there was no condition or disease that could not be healed by herbs and changing the diet. I will give you the link to their site. They sell the herbs in capsules and tinctures or you can go to vitacost, vitamin shoppe etc...as they also sell Dr. Christopher products.
      www.herballegacy.com/
Herbal Legacy has a great site, for trouble shooting. They have the ailment and then it gives remedies... Making the teas and drinking them, to me is the best way.
They also have a lot of great info on whatever herb you want to look up and they have a recipe site. These are healthy recipes, so they might not appeal to a lot of people...
I hope this helps. I am on their free email newsletter list, they send it monthly, a different herb is discussed and then there is a usually great raw food recipe, or healthy snack recipe, at the very bottom.

I'm a forager and chaga tea consumer. Stinging nettles are the bain of my existence. I've heard how nutrious they are but hadn't heard of useing them in tea. I did create a chaga/ chickory root blend that was quite tasty but didn't sell well. It had a silky mouth feel that if you were blindfolded you would think it had cream in it. The chickory was roasted so it added to the chaga flavor , which I find a little bland on its own. Those nettles are going into my basket !
