The reason why everything in Valu$ are so cheap was because the management behind it was (Radha Exports) the Singaporean supplier/wholesaler company that largely based on community friendly instead of your typical market prices. They first start up was ABC Supermarket which is the one that you walk in Bugis Street. From there their business boom and the next shop start up will be Valu$. The purpose for such shop exist was to aim for foreigner student/worker and low income family ease of affordability. Since then many oversea business like Japan Home, Mr Fix, etc all partnership with Radha, they export stuff to Radha with zero tax. This is why they're able to sell turkish, japanese, etc products in super cheap prices

Tergantung kebutuhan Kakak, kalau Bugis lebih cocok untuk belanja fashion, oleh-oleh, dan makanan, sedangkan Mustofa Center lebih seperti supermarket serba ada gitu Kak, jadi misalnya cari bahan masakan, sabun, dll :D
