So glad I found you! Thank you for a lovely episode, with beautiful knits- loved especially they socks and the yarn for your grandson. Hugs! Lotte from Sweden
I love how your nails match those socks! Marie-I just love your channel. I hope the retreat is everything you hope for. Looking forward to hearing about it.❤
Glad you got your knitting mojo back! it's good therapy. And it is true, that what works for you works for you.....I love DPNs for socks and 9 inch for sweater sleeves. I can't do magic loop no matter how hard I try......I frustrates me and get gaps
Great podcast Marie 😍 I am on such a sock kick right now that I',m barely making anything else. Beautiful socks and that shawlette is stunning. Your hand dyed yarn looked so lovely. "Boom!" LOL you are adorable and love your podcasts.
Hi Marie, Your Hush pullover is just stunning! I never noticed that Tin Can Knits pattern before. That color is lovely on you too. I have struggled with the 9" circulars also. I am a dpn girl and tried a few times with the 9" and it did get more comfortable the more I used them but I'm sticking with what I know. With the dpns I feel like it's second nature now and that makes for a relaxing knitting time. Enjoy your retreat!!!
So funny about the Hush because I just said to my LYS owner, why are more people not knitting this and she said I think a lot of them don't know about it!! It was released in 2022 so it's not like it's new. Anyways, the 9" circulars are probably going to be put away, I am a magic loop girl and like you it's second nature and that is really what it is all about. Don't want to struggle. Thanks for joining me Cindy!
I love Yarn Ink! I purchased the Offensive Crew a few years back & I’m still in awe of the gorgeous colors! Thank you for mentioning other yarn sources. Guess I’ll scope them out now 😆
I hear you on the 9" needles. I tried a sock with them and ripped it out. Then I tried it a bit later on them again and made myself keep going. I'm still not sure either, but I do like the complete circle instead of splitting in half. The jury is still out for me, for sure. I'm a fast magic loop girl, too.
Hi from BC Canada 🇨🇦 really enjoy your podcasts..I’m just doing small projects at the moment as well …but may cast on that free cardigan you shared so thanks 😊 have fun at your knitting retreat…I would love to go to one someday!!! 😊
Thanks, Marie, for your thoughts on the 9-inch circulars. I'm also a magic looper with long fingers and have been curious about all the raves about 9-in circulars (and also some people who dislike them).....great to try new things and I may spring for a pair at some point. For your cardigan dreams, I love the Plummery and just put it in my favorites....would be wonderful with Jul closures too. Enjoy the retreat!
All of your projects are beautiful! The sock colors are stunning! I’m glad to hear that you liked the outcome of your love note sweater…I am just beginning one and was feeling a little weary of sweaters since I just finished one with a not so great turnout😢 So glad to hear that things are going well with your husband and yourself❤
I also am knitting Xmas sock gift knitting to get ahead...lm on pair no.6 plus l knit 3 pairs over the holidays. It's a good job l like knitting socks especially with most of the men in our family having large feet. Everyone is getting 2 pairs each.l really enjoy your podcast, thank you
And I thought I was the only crazy fool mad knitting for gift giving! You are better than I for sure especiallly if you are using fingering weight and 2 pair each WOW! Thanks for watching the podcast, it really is so nice to meet new knitting peeps!
Hi! I enjoy watching your podcast. I have tried multiple times to knit on the 9” circs. They aren’t for me. They hit on my hand at a weird place and hurt! I have long fingers, too, and as much as I really wanted to, I can’t. I’d rather use DPNs than 9”, but Magic Loop is my go to method. When I knit self striping (I love Polka Dot Creek!) yarns, I use 2 socks at a time on Magic Loop. They turn out so well! I am already looking forward to your next podcast! Have a great weekend!

"Boom!" LOL you are adorable and love your podcasts.
Socks are simply the best thing to keep on the needles all the time. Thanks for spending some time with the podcast!
Thank you for your lovely yarn suggestions. Love knitting socks in dk weight, too.

I think I will probably end up back with Magic Loop, it's a little more joyful & familiar! Thanks so much for tuning in...appreciate it!
Love the projects you showed! It took me awhile to get used to the 9” circs and now I love them
Not sure I'll be able to get used to them! Thanks so much for tuning in!
