Great to catch up with you and have a glimpse of forthcoming creations. I find actively choosing to work with or wear bright colours is very positive for mental health. Quick finish objects also increase self esteem. Lovely to hear from you. Remember be kind to yourself 😊

It is wonderful when people are transparent but also accepting of their mental health. It is so common and should be more acknowledged. There is no shame in it and if people were more transparent, it would reduce anxiety.
Love your patterns and it’s really apparent that you are a genuine person!
Thanks for being you, you’re an amazing designer - we are all blessed by your talent!

So my son suffers from eczema and if you know- that’s a struggle. Anyhow while researching the inter webs I found that mental stability starts in our gut- research to find how to heal from within. Ultimately the Lord is our answer right? Praying for you my dear you tube friend ❤ thank you for being honest. We all struggle but know that you have a community that cares. God Bless.

You are so beautiful even with no makeup and love your new top you made. Amazing that you can do cables and lace without thinking much too. This past year was a year to love myself and sounds like your on that mission too. Stress and burnout is so hard right now for people. Praying you will let go and let God help you in your busy life a bit and know it's OK and you are amazing! Thank you for all you do❤

I have so many of your patterns in my cue to knit. What a beautiful, warm person you are. Self care is so important. Hugs from Colorado.

Thank you so much for a new journal entry Joji! Thank you for showing your real self. It makes it so much easier to know others, even role models, struggle at times. It was so nice it meet you last year in Magpie fibers! Based on your “Sweater Design” class I designed and knitted a sweater for my husband and he loves it and even wears it to work! Thank you for being an inspiration and a real human being!

It is always wonderful, when we lift each other up in those Izzy brain moments. I am so glad to know you find that from all of us knitters!
Very awesome to see you in another Journal! It sounds like you are finding it’s ok to do a journal when it works, and ok to take breaks. Thank you for sharing your method for fuzzy days. I also like something simple that doesn’t require concentration at these times. I liked the scarf over the shoulder method! I’ll remember that!
To me you always look beautiful. And your smile lights up anyone. Never forget that.
That is a beautiful top! And the cable cardigan is gorgeous. I will watch for the pattern release. And a big thank you for the hat pattern! Knitter love right back at you!

Great to see you. I also find it difficult to knit for my teenage daughter. She's going to get fingerless mittens for her birthday. I think she'll like them because she's been curious about mine and i found yarn she likes in colour and feel (wool allergies).
Many thanks for the cute hat pattern! I am patiently waiting for my brioche craze to be over then I will finally cast on your Milton pattern.
    Cheers from Canada.

I’m so glad blog again. I love to hear your thought processes on matching yarns with new designs. I think this is the hardest thing for me. I often can not use the same yarn as the sweater was designed for. For example, I can not wear mohair or alpaca. So listening to you talk about drape and grip of a yarn helps me understand what I need . Thank you

Lovely to hear from you. Would it help to just have your camera positioned so that it captures what you are doing when you play with yarn so you do not have to figure out how to express it in words but it captures the movement? As you knit, you are probably thinking in Spanish, not just about the knitting, but letting your mind wander. A video would capture what you create and free up your mind to wander.
