I have the Scorpion, Curado and SLX BFS and I have the opposite opinion. The Scorpion I have feels more refined, less noisy and casts better than my Curado or SLX. I guess it depends on the reel you get. They can differ from one to another from the factory. I paid the same for my Scorpion as my Curado when they were still in stock. My SLX drag isn't as loud as the other two and the drag is weaker. JMO. Tight Lines!

I'll be biased here and say, I prefer the Scorpion over the Curado any day, because everyone have the Curado BFS in the America; it's kinda overrated and i want something not a lot people have, plus the name Scorpion name sound much more kooler as well

Shimano scorpion is no longer in production that's why the price increases. Same reel different features

The only difference I could find was the curado having a drag clicker. Everything else was literally the same when compared on both sites. Japan and U.S

​@@soevasive wrong, they all have drag clicker, plus the Scorpion paint job is bit better as well unlike the Curado; its color paint job is literally the cheaper lazy paint job SLX BFS 😂I know this because i have all three reels (Scorpion, Curado and SLX) BFS
