- I get asked a lot the difference between our various LifePo4 batteries.
They're all under $500? Which one is the best? Short answer? They are each the best at what they do.
You can find the Series 1 here:
glowevoltage.c...
Series 2 here:
glowevoltage.c...
And we are happy to officially introduce the Series 3! You can find it here:

*Correction on temp range*
I had the S3 / S2 reversed. S3 is -43c discharge & -40c charging.
Let's go!!!!!! My broski killing it!!
So are you!
Looking forward to receiving my series 2. It's going to complete my build...
We hope to have them back in stock by Saturday. All preorders should be delivered by the end of next week!
Any updates??
My series 2 will be here Monday!!! Let’s get itttttt🤟🏻
How's it doing??
@@GloweIndustriesfinally putting her in because life took a toll for a minute but I’ll let you know today! Going to swap my old amp as well today with a jp23v2 so it should be a night and day difference between a 800w kinetic agm & the old amp being a audiotek2050.1D
2 12” Sundown LCS V2 in a ported box, I know they’re about to get over powered that’s why I’ll need to be careful with that amp😅it’s meant for my next build which is gonna be 2 15” XV3 4th order band pass, have Mostly everything just have to get back to working to finish it up😂life’s a beach sometimes
How is the s2 working for you ?@@dragonzdoser2071
@@dragonzdoser2071 update??
@@GloweIndustries I’m sorry for the late reply man life’s been throwing curveballs left and right but even only using 4ga swapping from an 800w agm to the glowe series 2 you could tell a night and day difference in punch and longevity. No lack of power and voltage drop is at a minimal for only having ran an agm up front and big 3 with a high output alt ran to the glowe in the trunk with an isolator to keep it nice and juiced up. The only reason I even have the agm in the front is because I couldn’t afford/wait for another glowe to do a battery delete at the time so I had to settle for an optima yellow top :/ but besides that I love every aspect of it! I’m eager to order another or two lol but for now I have to deal with another bracket that snapped & now a bolt that’s stuck in the block all after just getting it fixed up from sitting in the driveway for months doing a parts overhaul and now has an oil leak lol fml
Those batteries perform fr💪🏾🔥
Always looking for ways to improve them, too.
I got a 68k watt capable build. I am looking into changing from cmax this year to something else to save some space. How many of your batteries would it take with 500-700 amps of input, on demos I am running more around 20-25k
At 14.8v? Just making sure you’re not planning on charging these at cmax levels.
If at 14.8, two S3 may work but three would be very safe.
Thanks!
Thank you sir! Appreciated!
I have a skar svk2 4500 wired at .5 ohms hooked up to 2 xspower d3100s still dropping down to 12.5 volts runnimg a 375 amp singer alternator and debating on gettimg another svk2 4500 down the road and strapping them which one do you recommended
I have 2 xs power d5100 agm batteries and a 200amp HO alt. Total rms is about 3500 watts. I want to get a series 2 and I'm wondering if I should delete the agms or leave them and just add the series 2??
I’d recommend keeping one of the AGMs and snagging a s3! We have b stock available right now (cosmetic only) and can be under $400 with the code, “5off”. Same with a series 2 - can leave one of the agm for the extra capacity, but the lithium will be doing most of the work under normal circumstances.
So I can replace my car battery under my hood with a series 1 without issues just to give info I have 2019 f250 gas engine will this work?
I belive it cant be under the hood, too much heat unless you insolate it very well.
Im running an agm under hood im getting a 250 amp alternator im getting a series 2 glow voltage to run a salt 8k amp n 4 15s is that the way to go
Think this double posted.
So I have a stock alternator agm under the hood and have a 3k amp I live in Wisconsin so coldest it gets is -35 f which one should I run and don’t I have to charge these before installation and run a isolator
@@AceBase5 you should charge before install yes, no isolator needed. Check out our published videos, we have one dedicated to lithium + lead acid where we test what happens.
S3 is rated down to -40c (which is also exactly -40f) charge and discharge. This would cover all your needs for sure, works great with lead acid/agm and doesn’t take up much room.
S2 is rated for -40 discharge and -30c charge.
I don’t recommend the S1 really for -35f use.
@@GloweIndustries so I should be good with the s3 or s2 I forgot the numbers I gave are with wind chill lol
S3 is your best bet, and currently much of the time we can get them out same day.
Running about 4000 watts to 1 sub with a factory 180amp alternator. Do you think the series 1 would be enough for a front battery delete and still be able to play my music?
More than enough!
Im running a 6000 watt amp in i want to keep the agm up from what series to get
Series 3 would be perfect.
Running stock alt 100amp and stock battery i do have big three but trying to put a taramps 5k in back was wondering what battery i should use
A series 2 would be perfect!
I have a stock 150 amp alt and big 3 done all wire in car is 1/0 shca ofc cable and I have a jp23 v2 amp pushing a single 15 which battery is best for me if I listen to many songs on every drive i take and don’t plan on playing music while car is off
Can’t go wrong with the S2! Plenty of capacity and will have you more than covered.
I have 320 amp alternator and just ordeted gvs2 and have 2 AGMs already im pushing 7,000 watts @12.6 volts but @ 14.8 should be alot more!
You wont need these heavy AGM battery's :)
When Series 1 restock.
What battery do I need I have mechman 240 no main battery battery delete and jp43 .5ohms I’ll give u updates
I do have agm but alone is better and I need good battery JP40 LFP drops to 11.8 while truck running idle full tilt
A Series 2 I think would be absolutely perfect. Only need one.
@@GloweIndustries fast response love it I’ll order now
@@ANXIETYR6if you use code, “5off” it’ll save you 5% off anything on the store even on top of sales cost.
Do you sell any in-house buss bars? Have a 48ah headway and used all the rows on it but I want to swap to a v3
Yes! We do sell bus bars now.
Big3, 320 amp alt, and 2 XSpower d3400’s. Ppl say it’s still not enough to push5k. Which battery would you recommend for my situation. Temperate climate. Never gets too hot, never gets too cold.
A single S3 if you're going to keep at least one of the AGMs. It'd be perfect for your setup.
@guestguest I'm curious what area or region you live in? I'd love to live somewhere where it never gets too hot & never gets too cold. That sounds like perfect weather to me! I've lived in the southeast US all of my life & to me spring & summer time is miserably HOT!!! And we have high humidity in the spring & summer so it always feels so sticky & gross, always sweating! Again the area you describe sounds so pleasant & perfect to me! Each summer the heat seems to effect me worse & I'm tired of living in the Southeast US.

Do you have an ETA for when the series 1 will be in stock again? Planning on picking up a couple.
Preorders open back up April 10. Expected to he shipping before the end of April.
@@GloweIndustries Still show "out of stock" Do you have an updated date that they will be available?
Can series 3 be run with agm? I'm looking to support 12000-15000 watts.
It definitely can, no isolator needed.
Im running a 300 amp alt and an agm under hood, could i run the series 2 as a secondary with an isolator or should i run it parallel with agm ??? System consists of a taramps 5k and deaf bonce 400.4 and i will be adding another amp later anywhere from 5k-8k depending
You can run it in parallel, no isolator needed. If you're already running a 5k and will be adding another 5k-8k, I'd recommend getting a Series 3.
I wouldn’t even bother with batteries till you get a better amp for your system first
Could I run a v1 and a v3 together one under the hood and one under the seat
We don't recommend installing these under the hood unless it's in a separated compartment. With a V4 it's probably not going to matter tooo much, but it can still get pretty hot under a hood.
Awesome
Thanks!
I hqve a question... looking to buy a second battery for the back of my truck next to my amps.... i have a ford factory 200 amp alternator and running a total of 4000 watts of amps....what seris do you recommend and should I run a isolator?
I currently have a optima yellow top battery under my hood
Thank u
I'm not a fan of isolators (high resistance) and totally unneeded when hooking up a LifePo4 and a lead acid. I'd recommend a Series 1 for 4000 watts. It's more than enough to cover your electrical needs, and provides a ton of additional storage to boot.
@@GloweIndustries I got the series 2 from you... got my email today.. it's on the way...thank u
I currently have 2 xs power d3400’s and a 300 amp alternator under my hood. I’m going to be running a jp83 amp on 2 RS platinum 18’s. Which series should I run for best results?
plannano
@@user-yw3sb8uu7h huh
A series 2 or 3, leaning towards the 2.
Can I have a sb500 up front and a series 2 in the back? I’m running a 5k and 700.4 4 channel, planning on getting max 3000 watts from the 5k
Actually I see the series 2 aren’t available for preorder how would the series 3 do for my situation?
A series 3 would do well, but I'd honestly suggest maybe a Series 1. It will deliver way more power than you need, while also boasting the largest power reserve of the three.
I really dont drive my performace car would like the series 3 cause the weight but i wonder if it can take 5k rms amp for a couple of songs ? Stock alternator 180 amps . My titan 8 is taking a 2500 amp without charging pretty fine but the price on those is an arm and leg .
S3 would be more than fine for sure. With the car on, the IR is low enough to accept everything your alternator can produce and you’d be able to beat on it all day. 💯
@GloweIndustries nice ima give it a try
@@smurfeco2.358did you try the s3 ?
@elulysero8863 yeah I just completed my setup like 3 weeks ago .
@@smurfeco2.358 what is your experience with it ? Im looking into the series 3 as well due to its size.
i have a 150 amp stock alternator with a agm yellow top battery would a series 1 battery from you guys be good for a 3k watt system and should i delete my yellow top or keep it and add a series 1? i’m sorry im new to electrical in car audio lol
Series 1 would be more than enough to run as a solo battery for you. 💯
