I kind of agree with Speed 2 though. I loved the first Speed and I followed it along all the way, but when I started to watch Speed 2 shortly after just hearing about it, I felt some of it was underwhelming and wasn't as moving or exciting as the first film. The one thing I liked about it was Willem Dafoe as the villain. He was good enough for it. I really think the first film should've just been left on its own. It didn't need a sequel, though the fact that it made a ton of money sparked studio exec's interest to make a sequel in the first place. Ah well, shit happens, I guess.
Or Harrison Ford, he really wasn't keen on Han Solo and wanted him killed in Empire. The whole reason for putting him in Carbonate is because they weren't sure if he would return the third movie (Jedi). Kickass 2 was seen more by that age group, and portrayed teenagers enacting vigilante justice. Either way, he did say that he didn't regret the movie or his performance in it, just the timing of the movie in relation to a school shooting.

At least Clooney didn’t try to sabotage the film by voicing his hatred before it would premier. That is the aspect that makes Carrey’s opinion so bizarre. It was just an incredibly rude thing to do, considering his voice outweighs the entire rest of that cast. So to shit on his own film pissed every single member of the cast and crew, despite everyone understanding that he was reacting to Sandy Hook.

I kind of agree with Speed 2 though. I loved the first Speed and I followed it along all the way, but when I started to watch Speed 2 shortly after just hearing about it, I felt some of it was underwhelming and wasn't as moving or exciting as the first film. The one thing I liked about it was Willem Dafoe as the villain. He was good enough for it. I really think the first film should've just been left on its own. It didn't need a sequel, though the fact that it made a ton of money sparked studio exec's interest to make a sequel in the first place. Ah well, shit happens, I guess.

I've never been a "huge" Woody Allen fan, with the exception of some of his earlier work, like "What's Up, Tiger Lily?" and "Take the Money and Run", but I've got to hand it the guy for cleverly carrying the neurotic shtick as long as he did, and profiting off of it tremendously. He's virtually the same character in every movie; barring the occasional name change.

+SunBunz The Number 23 wasn't seen primarily by middle/high school aged kids, and was more mature in how it handled the dark content in portrayed. Kickass 2 was seen more by that age group, and portrayed teenagers enacting vigilante justice.
Either way, he did say that he didn't regret the movie or his performance in it, just the timing of the movie in relation to a school shooting.

I saw Super Mario as a kid and I thought it was scary / exciting and generally entertaining. Then again I liked He-Man the live action movie, the Wizard with Fred Savage, and pretty much every movie I saw back then as well so I guess I was easy to please lol.
