Running a 34” 21:9 ips monitor for my flight sim for a year now, and I will never go back. A huge difference in inmersion. The only cons I can mention is you will need a more powerful pc in order to handle more pixels at the same pfs rate. If your pc is capable I would go for that no doubt.
I don't know how much you paid for this monitor, but today an absolutely identical one costs $250 at Staples. For that price, I don't think it's reasonable to expect Apple quality or 4K 🤦
Literally just want an ultrawide because I’m tired of opening and closing windows because there’s not enough space for computer forensics and a few other IT related applications
Hello, I recently bought the LG 34GP950G for my Macbook 14. when I installed the L OnScreen Controls software, I noticed that the monitor settings would appear and then disappear. Can you see that on your Mac? Also, I can't find the LG UltraGear control center for MAC? I can only see for Windows.
als you have apple products....$2k isnt out of your budget range. you also just said you have a 4.5k display as well. Also 5k is totally worthless unless your filming in a super high resolution above 4k..... That's why they are professional monitors. most movies are filmed in 8k or above so they have to use these insane monitors to edit. comes down to pixel density again. 5k 27 or 32 inch pixel density is crazy high.
@TerrenRule I very much do appreciate your video and taking the time to do it. It brought a bit of clarity to my search. I just wanted to point out something in this video, that may be something you want to consider in the future. At 4:57 I see your using a Logitech webcam but promoting Lumina as your sponsor. Constructive criticism! However, besides that it was a very informative video that I greatly appreciate! It brought me to the realization that I need something that is higher caliber with my line of work.
hey dudde love your vids. i just purchased the LG 34GP63A-B ULTRAWIDE, is coming on Monday. can't wait to set it up. i bought it mostly for movie content. so, can not wait.
1st of all you need to understand resolution. of course your ultra wide looks worse than 4k displays and above 1st of all. and a bigger screen with less pixel density will look worse. this is why everyone recommends 32 inch non-ultrawide is the max for 2k resolution. This has nothing to do with the actual display and more to do with the 2k resolution stretched across a bigger display size. just as monitors in 4k look more crisp than a 80 inch TV. those pixels are huge compared to the monitor. 1140p (or 2k as we call it) goes from, 2560 x 1440 to 3440 x 1440. so yea in the future just know this so your not surprised it looks worse. 4k for ultrawides 34 inches and above is the goal, if you can push it that is. don't get a 4k ultrawide with a 2070 super or a underpowered laptop. MACs included BTW.

Is this a great buy in 2023? Or are there newer models out
The response is in your question.
It would be helpful if you listed the model number of the monitor you are reviewing.
Not tryna glaze him but he does @00:15
woowwww. hey dude. What is the name of the monitor arm and screen bar you are using, by the way?
Best review I have seen. Good on ya mate. Greetings from Australia

Did you compare and OLED screen to an IPS screen while saying Apple is always a cut above the rest? And you still take yourself serious?
I have the same monitor with my new build. It is great. Very happy with the product and would reccomend it.
Does it have web camera
Could you let me know what monitor arm that is please?
What are good monitors for ps5

Dope ultrawide,
just ordered 2022 model...
Um. What monitor is it?
I am considering this monitor but here's a dumb question: will it play 4K videos out of my Fujifilm Xt4? thanks!
It’s not a 4K screen, so videos would come out with a lower Resolution. Just connect your cam

Hi, thank you for the review. Which Arm Bracket do you use for this monitor or recommended? Thanks again
What’s the point in your video if you don’t mention the model number!?
He did at the beginning
LG 34WL75C-B
I don't think there is any Monitor that can truely match the display quality of MacBook pros
oh man you will get me into so much impulse shopping
thumb up for real life experience with pros and cons, unlike most reviews

Hey man! I'm considering getting this exact model but was wondering how is the smearing/ghosting for you? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Wish it was at least 100Hz.

its glad that you are spending time on reviewing items other than apple!!!!!!!!!
Cool review of ultraWide monitor. Thank you for sharing it. ✌️
Super helpful, using it for xbox so it's bye bye
60hz in 2023 ? lol no thanks
nothing wrong with that .. I bet if you would be shown a 60hz and then double, you would not guess which is which
@@jirikolar8601coming from 240hz, 60 is terrible
Omg another pointless review wasting time
