    You definitly got a sub out of me, not just because you took your time, but also because you SPOKE! It is getting so annoying seeing speed modeling videos and videos where there is no speaking at all. Thank you for your awesome work!

    In substance painter, a simple solution when u use projection. Don´t need upscale de window. Just press 'S' and adjust projetion map. Cool tutorials... Thanks.

    Instead of pressing g to repeat the last action to get to the multi cut, press right mouse btn to confirm while staying in the tool. To activate multicut instead of clicking on the menu item, select the object in object mode and shift rmb -> drag left. To extrude along normals hit ctrl e to extrude and add thickness in the menu, so you wont have to switch to component orientation. To bevel use ctrl b instead of the menu item. Then you can use alt + q in substance to quickly enable/disable isolated view. These are just some things I would do differently cause I am faster that way, mabey its personal preference idk

      Thanks! Yes these are very helpful, I use a lot of those in my workflows too it definitely saves time, I mostly use menus in these videos to help show people where the tools are. I got asked quite frequently in the past so now I tend to use menus to help show others and avoid having to explain where the tools are lol pressing G to repeat is definitely habit but I personally enjoy it and use it all the time. The right-click while using multi-cut tho I never new about! Life saver, thank you! and thanks for mentioning all of these, I’m sure others will also find this helpful 🤘

    thank you so much for this could u tell me what if i use udims for these meshes is there gonna be any issues after export textures to unreal engine

      You could totally use UDIMS, just make sure when importing to Painter to check on "Use UV tile workflow" before you create the project, otherwise everything should work normally 🤘Glad you enjoyed the video! 😄

    instead of selecting every each and everyone you an mirror 2 time after making 1/4 part of selecting, much easier?

    • @polyrendr
      @polyrendr  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes mirroring would definitely make life easier for selecting them all, there are also scripts you can add to quickly select every other face or edge with 1 click (I've done this in previous videos). You could also create a quarter of the object and then duplicate it around. There's definitely a few different way you could go about it! Thanks for the comment :)

      @@polyrendr can you share me script ? I actually do lot of circular rotation work so I need this.

    wait, then what does those do? after primitive shapes there 3 icon, I use them as center pivot, delete history and freeze transformation. why you added 03:00 to those in docks externally?

    • @polyrendr

      I manually added those tools to my shelf because I use them often, and it makes my life and workflow easier having them right there when I need them.

      Substance Painter is an Adobe application. You can find it in the Adobe creative cloud or a part of the Substance 3D group.
