Thanks man! It depends where they are and how the model is going to be used. If its going to be animated, then no try to avoid any triangles. If its not, having small triangles connecting booleans, etc wont be a problem at all! It really depends where the triangles are on the model, sometimes they can cause artifacts in the geo and weird stuff so its always good advice to try to stick to quads when you can.
Thanks! before or after smoothing? 😅 Its over a million tris after smoothing with all of those tiny objects. The chipboard alone is about half the poly count lol
You can definitely have more control over your renders in Maya, I would probably render it out with Arnold. However, Substance is great too and very easy since it has preset lighting environments and requires little adjusting/tweaking. That's a big reason why I render out of substance - it saves me a ton of time on my weekends not having to export, setup cameras, lights, hook up textures, and render it out. If you're not in a rush, I'd suggest rendering out of Maya. Not only is it good practice but you can definitely get better quality renders if you know what you're doing :)
hey buddy. You are doing Great. I saw all of your videos so far since and I am your subscribed member since you had 3.1k subs. Anyways I have a request and that is if you can make some videos on game ready assets more. I mean making a high poly mesh and baking it with the lowpoly and texturing maybe. Thanks for the awesome works again
Thank you for being a long time subscriber! 🙌I really appreciate all the support! There will be more HP/LP workflow models down the road when some more time opens up :)

Thanks for this content my friend. Could you make a video using the array tool? I am a Blender user and I am learning Maya but I don't really understand how to make certain patterns where objects must be duplicated on a circle or curves. Thanks in advance!
Man, you are crazy!!! I hope one day i can reach the same level as you, greetings from Mexico
Thank you man! You totally can! Just keep practicing and making art, consistency is key! Thank you for the comment :)
Nice work buddy, by the way is it bad to have triangle in our topology?

Super model sir
Thank you :)
Fantastic!
very cool !
Thank you!
plz plz can you tell me where did u get that circuit board material. i couldn't find it anywhere
Don't rush...
Hey man, create one for beginners follow along, please. It don't have to be large obj., but tricky. Peace!
COOL
Awesome work! what are your computer specs??
Hello!
Please tell me how you divided UV into such groups. Is it possible to do this in a blender, and how to load UV into Substance Painter?
Hey there! Each UV set has a different material applied to it.
The work is great, but I have a question, please tell me how many polygons do you have in your model?
Thanks! before or after smoothing? 😅 Its over a million tris after smoothing with all of those tiny objects. The chipboard alone is about half the poly count lol
Do you continue to use these models of yours somewhere, or do they just remain beautiful pictures?@@polyrendr
Оч круто

where did you get that circuit board keyboard smart material ?
It is available for free on the Adobe materials website!
thanks for taking time and replying

Hi, kind of a beginner here just wanted ask a question. For portfolio, where would you recommend rendering from? Substance or maya?
You can definitely have more control over your renders in Maya, I would probably render it out with Arnold. @@polyrendr got it thank you so much✨

Yes

Can you link your artstation profile? I'd like to see more of your work
I surprisingly don't have much up on ArtStation at the moment but you can find me by searching Polyrendr :)

Thank you! That's a great idea, I've used MASH a few times on some of these models but I'll definitely keep that in mind! Thanks for the comment :)
Your videos are exceptional! I've included them as my daily watch whilst I work! I pick up LOTS of information as I watch them! Thabk you! 🙏🏻
Thanks man! Happy to hear that, I appreciate the comment! :)
Do your patreon videos have commentary in real time?
No they are just in real-time. However I do have other narrated videos on there as well.
Stunning! I love how it looks! Is the circuitboard a projected texture or a material?
Thank you! :) It's a material. Some of the tiny pieces are also geo.
This is guy is really talented. How long did it take to get to this level of 3d model experience? Keep the videos coming.. Thanks.
Thank you man! Appreciate the comment, I've been at it for about 7 years maybe. Its just lots of practice, consistency is key!
Your welcome! That's so true. Thanks.@@polyrendr
how long have u been in this field?
