    I put my label rolled up unto the centre as I pull the yarn ball off the first yarn ball winder. That way I have the details at hand when I pick up the yarn ball

    I want to mention the Stanwood brand cake winder. It is more expensive but very much worth it. I initially bought the smaller one like the one you demonstrated, but it was too small for some of my yarn skeins. The Stanwood is amazing. Very high quality and I can cake any size yarn amount. I LOVE it, but I love gadgets. At the time I didn’t see it on Amazon so I went directly to the Stanwood site. Now I cake all my yarn and I can deal with any knots up front instead of in the middle of a project.

      I love gadgets too Judy! I hear you with the yarn winder does have a max capacity. I will definitely look into that Stanwood Brand Cake Winder! Sounds amazing! Thanks for the heads up. 😊🧶🧡

    I just starting to crochet about a week ago and you have taught me so much! I’ve gone a little crazy and made 4 potholders, a cup coozie, a scarf, and I’m working on a blanket for a friends baby!

    I guess I'm a pioneer crocheter, the gadgets are useful to so many, but for me it takes too much time away from my crocheting. It's very useful to learn how the gadgets work, thanks so much for sharing.

    Thank you Tiffany for your review of these tools. I have used my double yarn ball holder for different weights of yarn from bulky 5 down to #10 crochet tread. I love it! And it is so easy to take with you on vacation for something to do while just relaxing.

    I liked this tutorial. I never bought yarn in a hank cause for me it's been easier to use a skein so if I continue with making things I probably would invest. Thanks Tiffany. Very smart tutorial

    I have watched a few other tutorials on these products and I will say I like yours the best. You make it look easy to use. Others I have watched wanted to complicate it with too much unnecessary instruction. Thank you.

    Which would be great to use when winding a large ball of yarn

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is a great question. I would use a Yarn ball winder Cake Maker. But if you are going to be rolling a Large Ball I would look for the Yarn ball winder Cake Maker that is bigger and will work with that quantity of yarn best. You can find them on amazon and through a quick google search. Look for the Larger size. 😊🧡🧶

    Just wondering... could you use a swift to create a hank as well as to hold a hank for use/winding?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I bet you could!! I could absolutely see that being an ability for the swift. I like that a lot actually. Thanks for thinking outside the box and asking. Inspiring. 😊🧶🧡

      @@CrochetWithTiffany Thanks for the reply! I just gave in and got a ball winder; My leftovers now look beautiful and I can see myself caking all my yarn now just because I can. 😁 A swift will be on my birthday list.
