I think your selling the game short, It's pretty innovative in that it seems to be appeal to fans of the kids Show and interestingly it has simplified combo mechanics, nothing too I.Q busting like DMC. In a bit of a weird way ,it predicted the rise of DMC's popularity because DMC was not as popular back then until 3 came out. I say , it's a great simplified kids game and fixes the complexity that many fighting game developers are now in the last decade are hustling to simplify. It really is quite ahead of it's time in game play approach to kids
I swear i remember this game being a lot more in depth and freeform with combos, some real combo MAD material I guess it was me trying to pretend this game and Chaos Legion being the true successor of DMC1 over DMC2, that game traumatized me so much my subconscious keeps overwriting it with other action games of the era lol
@@kermitwithamustache3885 oooh yea this game is very interesting. More for the jokey side of things that were built around it over the yrs bc of the whole thing about capcom developing it. I wish it was more solid bc this movie is awesome! Who wouldn’t want a fun action game to go w it but it’s pretty oooverly simple sadly. If you want some sorta dmc like check out my evil dead vid when you can. That was more a well rounded tie in game. Funny thing is i feel like ash heavily influenced Dante. Could be indirectly too but he’s also this guy who makes slight jabs in the face of these demonic beings w out a care haha But yea maybe that movie had some influence on the game or capcom at the time n then later evil dead games we’re influenced by capcom by making games like RE n DMC. It’s all my own head canon but I want to believe it worked out that way
Yoooo first game with Devil Bringer let's go.

dang I remember when this first came out
This game always reminded me of the PS2 Van Helsing for whatever reason.
Maybe he should cover that game next...
I finished it yeears ago n remebered it being okay. But man the clones that came out after dmc1 had a hard act to follow
