A Union (not necessarily federal, but confederal) would be needed, to have any impact on the world in terms of diplomacy etc. Unified defence due to the low militarisation and low population numbers, to be able to protect the sovereignty of the nations.
Oslo or Göteborg would be more central and make more sense anyway. I hate when people keep bringing up the Kalmar Union as it failed for a reason. at the time of the Kalmar Union, Norway was under Danish rule, yet was considered an independent country, therefore Iceland and Greenland was under and later continued to be under Danish rule after the Kalmar Union broke up

Copenhagen would probably not be the capital. Gothenburg (the second largest city of Sweden) is way more suitable if you concider it is a city with a population comparable to Oslo in the middle of the most dense and most populated region of the Nordic Countries (that would be southern Sweden + Norway and pretty much all of the Danish islands). Gothenburg also has the largest port in all of the nordic countries and since it is not a capital of any of the nordic countries already, it would be the most fair and in general best possible compromise for everyone. Idk what to do about the royal families however, maybe we could place them all into the same house, since they are all already related? King Harald V of Norway would be king in that case, since he is the oldest of the monarchs. The old Kalmar Union flag should be the flag of this new country in my opinion (for old times sake).

I disagree in some parts of your video:
1. The capital would most likely be Stockholm, since it's the most populated city and for tactical reasons.
2. I think that the monarch would have no real power, but there would be probably a king of Sweden, and a duke of Norway, duke of Denmark and governors of Finland and Iceland, and maybe Greenland too.
3. Military would be mightier, because every Finn gets at least 6 month military training, so reserve would be much higher and since it shares a massive border with unpredictable Russia, you gotta be ready.

Why can't all three cities, Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen be our capitals? Just look at South Africa how they divided their capital city statuses. Also why would it be needed to have one king or queen rule over this country? Why can't we just keep the current royal families as is? Hell they are even close family, both the ruling king of Norway and the ruling queen of Denmark, both of their mothers were Swedish princesses. Each royal family would just be ruling each realm.

If there were a referendum for joining sweden, i would vote no, and i have good reasons for that
1. History: swedes were always ungrateful for what finns gave them: protection and taxes for example, while swedes were eating meatballs in stockholm, finns were fighting against russians
2. Quality of life: Finns would be better off in Finland, since joining sweden, Finland might suffer unemployment rate going up, because companies will be closing down, because of swedish high taxes, even higher than in finland
3. Swedish immigration policy: Sweden has 55 "no go zones" which are areas in cities controlled fully by immigrants, where police and ambulance can't work properly, and i think sweden have had the highest rape rate per capita, since the mass immigration started

Norway and Denmark are part of NATO. Sweden and Finland not. Sweden, Finland and Denmark are members of the EU. Norway is associated but a member state. Apart from all this we would be the least corrupt and most efficient economies in the world. The best area to live in. And of course the nicest people. A Nordi union would be a great thing.

As a Swedish citizen I would actually like to see this happen, (at least more cooperation between our nations) since the Swedish government has abused their power for quite a while, and cared only for their reputation instead of the Swedish people. We Scandinavans usually feel a lot of compassion for eachother and that we are almost the same people. We have cooporated alot with eachother in history, for example the kalmar union and also the scandinavan union we have going on now (even though we've fought against eachother alot aswell).

Gothenburg (the second largest city of Sweden) is way more suitable if you concider it is a city with a population comparable to Oslo in the middle of the most dense and most populated region of the Nordic Countries (that would be southern Sweden + Norway and pretty much all of the Danish islands).
Gothenburg also has the largest port in all of the nordic countries and since it is not a capital of any of the nordic countries already, it would be the most fair and in general best possible compromise for everyone.
Idk what to do about the royal families however, maybe we could place them all into the same house, since they are all already related? King Harald V of Norway would be king in that case, since he is the oldest of the monarchs.
