That Chevy 'Intrepid' (as it was originally known, in 1990-91) of Wayne Taylor is one of my all-time favorite race cars. I just love the damn thing, think it's absolutely gorgeous. Big-displacement, cross-plane V8 rumble is always wonderful, too. It was very trick when introduced in 1990, being one of the first GTP cars to utilize a full carbon-fiber chassis.
It's cool seeing sportscaster Marty Reid covering the race Mid Ohio. Marty was a sports reporter in Columbus in the 70's before getting his gig at ESPN.
So will archived races from IMSA's past now be uploaded regularly? And what type of video format are these stored on? This quality is too good to be VHS.
Swine Brothers I said that because I ever watched 2 Tudor races in 2015 using IMSA.com and the commentary was from the IMSA Radio crews using FOX Sports' interface. Sadly what they uploaded was FOX's aircut race 😭
yeah, 2015 was the first year back for radio le mans, i have no idea why they kept using the fox feed for these videos on youtube, but they did listen to the fans and switched over
IMSA, Please do not take the video, blow it up, blur it, then place it behind the actual image to cover the sides. Just leave the sides black or, better yet, figure out the youtube setting that allows you to display video in the correct aspect ratio. Thanks.
Aaah a video from the great old days. Thanks for sharing these gems 🙏😁
These cars were SO cool!

it would be black bars. you can't display 4:3 video on 16:9 without stretching the hell out of it.
Could you upload the race from Indianapolis Raceway Park if you have any footage
LOL....Those Toyota's made everything else look slow.
not the same level.
