Israel is a state that has been broadly successful in establishing a modern and progressive society in an area of the world where this is not the general rule. Israel sets itself up as a target for all those who grow up with insecurity about the lack of achievement in science, technology; even in establishing peaceful development of their own societies.

I have absolutely no interest in the Conservative leadership race. Labour and Conservatives are literally just Party A and Party B at this point. There was recently a lot of fuss in the right wing press about Labour giving away the Chagos Islands... they conveniently ignored the fact that negotiations actually begun under the Conservatives. Same with the recent early-release of prisoners.

As a white male, I feel discriminated against globally. Why have countries like Nigeria banned us from appearing in adverts? If we banned blacks from adverts, the DUN would send in a 'peacekeeping' force!🤦

There was no dodgy voting. It was a actually quite straightforward, tom t and Cleverly were both on 21, so many of the 16 knocked out Mel S voters lent their votes to Cleverly but were never going to vote form him in the final round. Sorry to disappoint the media, no grand conspiracy or massive blunder here.

Watch all the ICJ hearings, and make up your own mind - or decide "it's complicated". Believing other people's commentary is not intelligent. You need to get your own opinions.
I'm glad I watched all these 'smart people' podcasts before this mask off moment. It's really helped me gain a much more nuanced perspective on world events.

Kemi is a Nigerian national, she is not British. She should NOT be the British PM on that reason alone. I want a British PM for Britain.

I gave up after a couple of minutes. What is the point of this discussion? The choice between civilisation and savagery is obvious. There is no value in further discussion. There's certainly no point in trying to persuade or win someone over. You are wasting your breath. Move on.
