      @katalinpuscas9722 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@amelsabri469 for the first 2 years it was challenging, but not anymore. You can have berries. At the beginning I was craving apples and grapes, and that was very hard...but what happened after I ate those, I had a huge headache and the next day a very low energy. So, I realized that it was really not worth the trouble.. it took me 2 years to do not crave sweet fruits. The idea is to be kind to yourself and take it easy. Give yourself time and don't stress:)

    Fasting for dementia makes sense to explain why in the mornings after waking from sleep, dementia seems to be less apparent than during the day and certainly than at sundown. Interesting.

    • @PtolemyXVII
      @PtolemyXVII ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really. Dopamine is made in the morning, but in dementia patients, they do not produce melatonin hence at sundown their mental state gets worse. Has nothing to do with fasting. It’s lack of melatonin

    Hello Dr. Berg,
    I am 70 years old, and have been fasting for over a year now, it has done fantastic things for me, I have lost 50 lbs. and reversed high blood pressure, heart problems, lung issues, also gained memory, and clarity. Iam no longer on any medications, and feel better than I have in 20 years. My question is, how can I still get the benefits from fasting, without losing weight?

    Dr Berg , I have been low carb keto carnivore for a year and just short of 1 year 6 months. I still have a fatty liver and now have an enlarged spleen.
    I lost 31 lbs but have gained a few lbs 7, I believe. Very upset with this outcome. I don’t sleep well, but I’ve started taking melatonin. Had to. Doing ACV
    Two a day. I’m not having indigestion any longer but going backwards I feel. Crazy I am taking some bile capsules, but it’s not your Tudca brand. I’m about to give up, but don’t want to. Determined to lose once and for all. with this last batch of tests I now have an enlarged spleen, have not been ill. You’re a great help. Thanks. Oh A1C is 5.5 for 6 months now yet not losing

The postal worker left the package in my black mailbox which is in direct sunlight, in 97° weather (about 136° inside mailbox) instead of bringing it to my door. It sat in there for 3 hours. The package was hot to the touch when I took it out of the mailbox. Are these pills still good to take? Thank you.

      If your blood-sugar drops to the point you have suffered a seizure that is a symptom of type-1 diabetes and must be treated medically. In any case getting some blood-tests carried out especially relating to insulin production and response to eating carbohydrate foods. Get it checked Jessica it's important. 👍

    • @SpamMouse
      @SpamMouse ปีที่แล้ว

      Cure will depend upon the cause which is difficult to define from one sentence. Look at causes of pain, lack of joint mobility related to being held in one position under tension for long periods of time would be helped by exercise. If you suffer from poor diet choices common among those living off "rewarding" truck-stop diner meals/treats, you would be wise to self-cater with keto choices. And look at glucosamine from natural sources not supplements, IMHO. HTH.

      Dawn phenomenon causes a higher blood sugar in the morn. Also, you'll want to start shrinking your eating window. Go from 3 meals per day with no snacks to 2 meals, and maybe even 1 if you can. Then give it time. It can take 1 month of right eating per year unwell for the body to heal. ✌🌸

      @@arlenebent8487 🌸 Dawn phenomenon is a natural thing that happens in every human. The liver produces glucose through gluconeogenesis to get us up and going for the day. If your body is still healing from insulin resistance, your numbers will still be high in the morning even though you're keto. One way to speed up the healing is to eat less often in a shorter eating window. Snacking is the worst, lol. Take care. ✌🌸

    Regarding sleep, what is the Detox cycle of our different organs

    • @SpamMouse
      @SpamMouse ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sleep is the brain's time to detox, for this it requires water to literally flush the brain's cerebrospinal fluid. One of the best processes to allow various organs to repair and "clear" is to allow them to rest for example the intestines when not being forced to process food for 20 hours per day. Other organ's run 24/7 the heart and bone marrow for example.

      I disagree! Actually, hearing all the names of the countries around the world has me feeling like Dr. Berg is making an important shift in the health of all of us on this tiny planet! I'm touched that one man with a vision and passion can educate and inform us on how to be our most healthy selves! Take a deep breath, relax, and just imagine how it must feel for people to hear the name of their country being mentioned!

    What is the symptom of pain under rib f the left side?

    • @SpamMouse
      @SpamMouse ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean "cause" of pain? Apart from muscular causes it might be related to stomach problems including an ulcer or pancreatic problems for example if you are type-2 diabetic.

      1 to 2 tablespoons of chia seeds in water or soup per day is easy and convenient. Flax is problematic because must grind to powder first to be useful but they also spoil faster in powder form.

    Doesn't intense exercise cause adrenal stress, too? Thus more gentle walking, house chores better choice

    • @Storm_Lily
      @Storm_Lily ปีที่แล้ว

      Yoga as well. HIIT done no more than 3 days per week has been shown to help the adrenals vs the stress steady state cardio causes. I wish I could remember which vid he mentions that in. ✌🌸

    • @SpamMouse

      Humans have been designed by nature to cope and expect sudden SHORT bursts of stress (escape from tiger attacks etc) this is not a cause of problems. However people are not designed to live in a constant state of stress from doom-scrolling on social-media or a high-pressure work environment for +8 hours a day. Gentle walks are fine with a few bursts of sprinting to escape that tiger mixed in.
