Hey…Buddy the pimax uses the normal vavle base stations for tracking not self tracking like the quest 2 and 3 which means the base stations can track your hands behind your head as long as they can see the controllers ofc(4 stations are recommended for better tracking)

Personally I think the quest 2 is the best Reason: First it is affordable and it has pretty good graphics for a 300 dollar headset plus it’s the oG quest personally I don’t really see the difrence if you get the quest 3 but already had quest 2 if it is your first quest then I would just probably get the updated version

The entire time I was just thinking about how tracking needs to be worse in order to be better on walls and ground. If you are trying to just get good on branches or jumping then sure. Worse tracking or less hertz are better for gorilla tag because it sticks better and makes more snappier movement. The quick changes in direction and speed throw many people off. Using lower hz or worse tracking makes walls easier but mainly slippery walls. Or at least it used to because meta released an update that made 60 hz not work anymore so I guess this argument is irrelevant.

did you know that on quest (2), you can change the resolution per eye all the way up to nearly 4k so i dont understand why he is saying its resolution is so bad 😕

From what I know the Quest 2 doesn’t even support 4K, you’re just putting more stress onto your GPU for nothing.
