Just sub’d. I appreciate the video. I have turned a wrench the last 30 years and it is good to see so many affordable manufacturers keeping the market more affordable for all of us. Thanks for the video!
Hey man! Another awesome one! This set is a complete one, and for a 150 bucks it's very impressive and looks to be quality, def way cheaper than Mac or Snap-On and probably just as good!
"Way cheaper" is the understatement of the year. It's been over 30 years since i bought my impacts from Snappy, and all i remember was handing money to my Snap-On man every week for YEARS. On the plus side, i have never broken one, and I think the 36mm has survived the most abuse with stubborn VW axle nuts 😆.
Awesome video!! Thank you so much for this 🙏 the biggest draw for me is its a complete set and i need to have everything in one case so I don't loose sockets. I hate running back and forth between the truck and the house. It wastes so much time.
Love these sets, ended up getting the 3/8 set which is definitely more portable and a little more useful for all jobs. I pull this one out for larger jobs for sure though the 1/2 sockets still look brand new!
Love this set. Bought it 2 months ago. The sockets were all scrambled in the case from shipping but no biggie. They all went on rails. I can tell you that the 24 mm shallow held up to all day impacting yesterday, installing new track pads on an excavator and it got hot as hell to the touch. Hardly any wear on it. Loving this set more and more!
@@oneemptymag thank you for replying so quick. Just started becoming a diesel mechanic and I want to up my game and get my own tools but I don't know what to get so I'm looking around and I'm hoping that purchase is like this can at least last me a year or so
@@chewyalba9824 I can tell you for a fact that they have lasted me over a year so far. Congratulations on making the jump on diesel mechanics. I just made the jump at being a heavy equipment tech for over a year now
Very nice set of impact sockets. I have accumulated a pretty complete collection of impacts over the years. Some Craftsman, some Kobalt, some Stanley, and a few others. Would have been nice to have a complete set of shallow and deep together in one set.
Great vid. First time watching. I’ve subscribed. I’m a weekend warrior or so I try. I’ve been looking at this set. Thanks for the valuable information. I’ll check out more of your stuff.
Do you think you could do a review on the Milwaukee M18 searchlight I just bought one yesterday at Home Depot for $79 and if you want the part number it is 2354 - 20
journeyman electrician in California. Found channel browsing a while back. My only problem with neiko in the past was lack of warranty and for purchases like this, I would be looking for lifetime warranties. Do u know if that set is warrantied?8
My only gripe is that it doesn't have the 1" 5/16 and doesn't go up to at least a 28mm as 25~30mm is DEFINITELY needed in 1/2" drive sets... most Axel sets cover the 29mm-38mm, but some are just 30mm-39mm, so this is why i stress that this set should go up to at least a 28 or 29mm... Most 3/8" Drive MASTER SETS already cover up to a 24mm so this missing 25mm~28 or 29mm is a REAL Bummer
So...did you use them or just look at them and hold them in your hand? Are all the sizes accurate? (I've had some sockets under-size) Are they all hardened to a decent degree or did some get missed? How do they look after driving them with an impact? I've had some that swell and look abused simply by spinning the socket with my hand as resistance and seeing the abused corners of the drive end. Buy from a retailer that you can return with ease. You'll probably need it.
$152 is expensive for you?🤔 What are you making...$7.50 an hour? Anyway, I bought this set from Amazon in August of 2022, on sale for $112.91+tax=$124. I don't need or use SAE, but for the price...why not. It's going to supplement my 3/8" SUNEX(#3351) 51-Piece, Metric, 7mm - 22mm Master Impact Socket Set, & 3/8" TEKTON(#SID91404) 72-Piece (1/4-1 in., 6-24 mm) Impact Socket Set.

Thanks for the comprehensive review. This is one of the rare sets with no skips. Very reasonably priced considering what you're getting.
Awesome review. I love my Nieko Impact sockets. Very strong!!! 😎
Wow amazing set. Even includes angle adapters and extensions 😱

Good to hear I work on heavy equipment too think I’m gonna pick up this set
hey whats the status report on the set? still holding strong ?
@@chewyalba9824 still going strong! Haven’t broke one or wore one out yet and I use them on a high torque impact daily

love craftsman. Im with you in having all kinds of sets.
That's what they make socket rails & clips for. They were making them 40 years ago when you were growing

I like it !! thanks for sharing !!
Thank for the review.....I am looking at a Neiko & was wondering if there are any good. Thanks again
Good video!
My father in law had a chrome socket shatter, a piece got jammed in his forehead, i went out and brought this set a week later
Any proof? So I could show my dad
Gah damn
Would love to see a Chromoly vs Chrome Vanadium impact socket challenge to settle once and for all if either is clearly superior for impact sockets.
Will look into it. Maybe future Video 🤔

Is neiko life-time warranty? How much $$ is the set you bought in the video

it is but getting ahold of the warranty will probably take time.
My buddy is a mechanic and he has this set
I have the 3/8 version and they are worth it
I want to order these but there are soooo many reviews of people saying they are receiving double sizes, missing sizes, etc.
Is this better than the $200 tekton one ? Which has 72 pieces ..
1/4” to 1’
6mm. To. 32 mmm
if you use larger sockets yes but if 1" is all you use then the tekton is the way to go.

Hi ,Is it better then Husky impact socket set from Home depot?
Have not try the husky. But loving this set so far and completeness.
Grey Pneumatic is the way to go in impact
look into it
Just so everyone knows the reason quality impact sockets are softer than Chrome is so they protect the Anvil on your impact
Thanks for the info and still working on the Words for the Channel lol 😂
LOL it's a little heavy on the heavy side entertainment gold
Where can I buy them?
Brand Web site?
I have the link in the description of the video.
How has it held up?
Still impacting.
Product USA?
No it's made in Taiwan. I have Neiko socket sets and they are very nice and very good quality. You can't beat the price. 😎
What’s the warranty on these?
Let me ask Robert.
As soon as i get an answer will notify you.
Puts milwaukee overpriced sockets to shame
have to save in the trades.
now it $189
Thanks for sharing Jorge. Did you pick one up?
It's pronounced "knee ko"
I dont understand your rubber gloves and protection clothes what is wrong do you have an allergy or a fobia of some sort .

It’s not but for people starting off it is. Thanks for sharing Aleks. What trade are you in?
Can you put a different brand rachet in that case ?
🤔 not sure. Will try when I get home.
Too bad I already got the sunex ⅜ and ½ sets. They came real close to the price of these neiko sets.
