Happy new year, everyone! I live in a sunny, high altitude climate and wear wide brimmed sun hats (and SPF50) every single day. I have lighter hats for summer, and darker, heavier hats for winter, but if I'm outside I'm probably in a hat! Since they're a daily staple I have a whole wardrobe of them to play with.
What makes bag charms tasteless imo is when people have too many or they're all the colours of the rainbow. I've worn bag charms for years, but they're either small or they're a similar size/style. What I see being put forward as "trendy" is a mish mash of often very childlike charms that look like a total mess. My bag charms are: 1) brooches/pins/badges from artists/museums or vintage brooches pinned to my denim/fabric tote bags; or 2) silver (even gold) charms that I no longer wear on my bracelet. I bought some inexpensive metal key rings from Amazon (the round bits come in different sizes) and used them to hang my charms around the bag handles. I have several bunny, cat and other animal charms and they're quite valuable but safe around the bag handles and they look chic, not cheap.
I love Accessories !!! Belts, hats, jewelry say so much without saying a word. Yesterday when I left the house. My neighbor said , you look like you’re going to a Rock Concert. I said. Kinda. I’m heading to Target, for a cat food run 😻😹
Because ive been really daring with my fashion, my resolution (or really what i like these days) is keeping my outfits simple, but very well thought out and tailored and clean/crisp, black white and grey are what im enjoying atm
Mine is that I will keep using my Cross-body bags as I'm doing since 18. I'm now 59 and I love to walk around with my hands free. My fashion decision is whatever goes with my personal style as long as it is functional and comfy.
Seems like a blast from the past to me ! I wore that stuff in the ‘80’s at M/C polytechnic whilst studying for a degree in textile design. Wish I’d saved some of it now🤔

At the end of last year I had just got two vintage winter coats from my now 100 year old grandmother! One dark grey with real fussy light fur at the collar and hem and one long light gray sheerling coat! They are quite heavy and she didn’t want them anymore…! She is almost my size EU 40-42 though I’m taller than her, they fit! At the moment it’s not very cold here in southern Sweden (+3-0*C) , though we got snow during the night! I’ll use these during this and coming winters! I’m all in on assesories! Easiest way to transform and outfit! I like: coloured stockings/ hosery, hats 👒(especially at summer-I’ve used them for years!), scarves 🧣(I have inherited a whole bunch from my mum!), quirky handbags (Yay! I ’ll dig into my stash!) 🎒🌹and floral earrings/earstuds! 🌺🌸🌼 2025 is starting of in my taste!🥰 Bye from 🇸🇪!

I saw maybe two pairs of futuristic sunglasses I'd be willing to wear in public. I'll still with my favorite aviators. And i do need a large hat for summer, but not THAT big.

I bought a glitter bag from Kate spade and it scratches everything I wear it with. My New Year's style resolution is to move the neutrals in my wardrobe away from black. Brown, navy, grey anything but black.
my goal almost every year is to try wearing one different piece every day, doesnt matter if its new or not. In that way i have noticed so many clothes that dont fit me or my style anymore, and i get rid of them and get extra space in my closet. My closet is much more "me" after doing that, i end up loving my own clothes more even before years of having them. Happy new year everybody

HNY! Bag charms: you can run a fine line between looking like a 16 year old and a grown woman! Some of the charms I've seen are excessive and de-value the beauty of the bag (imo😏)🙏🏾✌🏾
