Josie, you are definitely not alone! I'm not so keen on denim, I can't stand anything pressuring my belly and most jeans do just that. Most silhouettes are not very flattering on me either, I think I can't pull off slouchy cuts like mom or barrel as I'm kind of petite. Still, this autumn I bought 3 pairs - white, black and light blue - in bootcut silhouette. I had an idea to style them with a simple top and chanel style boucle jacket. Not done much of it though, I just prefer dresses :) Thank you, your trends videos are always interesting to watch. 👗👗👗

I love timeless fashion, quiet luxury. I dislike logos on pretty much anything (they are not paying me to advertise). As soon as the Kardashians went nuts with LV, I took a dislike to the one bag I had and gave it away. I have a CD bag , from the late 70's---that's a keeper. Nowadays , I love Aspinal, Launer and Tusting, loved Padfields too, but they went out of business:( that truly was a BRITISH BAG). Clothing I find if you buy well, you can buy once---things last and look good for years and years. You look beautiful in everything pretty much Josie, except for that long brown skirt...... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Although I did, succumb to the Annie Hall “backwards” scarf, ( which was a joke but did in fact get me a booking in the 1970’s). My kids would be appalled. 🤣 “You, do you.” I agree with that statement allll the way. 😂“Too many fashion time slavers, and NOT enough “ fashion time savers”.

It is boho and yes I have had suede jackets over the years and they are so versatile. Your YSL bag is lovely and my dad always warned me to watch my handbag and also never to leave valuables in the car. He meant well and his advice has stuck and sound it was too. He was a gent and careful with his belongings and home and garden and I am appreciative of having a caring dad. He kept ties for years and always looked very stylish without seemingly trying very hard. My mother also always wore a bit of jewellery every day and always looked smart.

Flip flops are worn in two locations in my life….to and from the nail salon and on a sandy beach! Love yellow……but the Skant will be left to my granddaughter and teenagers.
I absolutely love the horseshoe or barrel shaped denim. My husband doesn’t really like it, but he’s getting used to it. “Citizens of humanity” good but, very heavy, and “we the free” I like even better & great price point.

Josie, I’m with you ‘classic and timeless’. And neutral colors. I add a bit of blue sometimes. Also agree with you about denim: it’s cold in winter and hot in summer. Not my favorite either. I don’t like the sheer trend, at least not for me. I’m also a dainty jewelry wearer. I don’t like to call attention to myself and I find big chunky jewelry aging . Coats: OMG. Next to shoes I think I have a coat fetish.

Josie, I’m with you ‘classic and timeless’. And neutral colors. I add a bit of blue sometimes.
Also agree with you about denim: it’s cold in winter and hot in summer. Not my favorite either.
I don’t like the sheer trend, at least not for me.
I’m also a dainty jewelry wearer. I don’t like to call attention to myself and I find big chunky jewelry aging .
