I can't believe you only have about 3000 subscribers! Which is significant but this video looks like something a big TH-camr would make, nice job! The quality, the pieces, the editing, your confidence, everything is on point!
You are very creative. Love the upcycled Afghan cardis. But your jeans and pants are so well made and fit well. I follow a lot of sewists and yours are the best fitted I've seen. All the best.
I love everything you've made!!! I think the dress at 4:05 could definitely be styled with a more sheer pair of tights, but ultimately it'll also look super cool as just a top. One of these days I'm gonna have to order a pair of jeans, I LOVE the fit and the style!!
Super cool colours and patterns! I always feel awkward wearing those bold patterns but I LOVE seeing them and wish I had the styling sense to pull it off and feel comfortable 😅
I love your style. Everything looks great. I see you have a pattern for a romper. Do you sell a pattern for your jeans? I love them. I am committed to making all my own clothes and would love to make them.
@@StitchPleeease thanks. I don’t have a pattern for the jeans. That’s something I make for my shop at the moment. But I hope to get some other patterns out there this year!
Shirt dress....don't change it. It just needs bright tights or leggings. Black is too harsh. Try magenta pink or lime green. You need to go all out with the print, I reckon.
as a sweaty person, I would have NEVER thought to make a top out of a towel, but that’s actually genius!! Also I would love to buy your pattern for your jeans if you ever wanted to release it
@@SallieandSamStyle yes I mainly find my materials vintage. I’ll find some dead stock items here and there that I’ll source from the LA fashion district too
Love your creativity and well made clothes. Where did you learn this at this young age? Is this your hobby or job? I love sewing, but only do it on the weekends as a hobby as I work full time. I thought about having an online store, but clothing are so cheap these days due to fast fashion. I don’t think I can get the return for my time. What is your thoughts?
@@littlelady7843 I’m flattered thank you. I’m not so young but I did go to fashion school and worked in the fashion industry. I do this full time but it is hard since I do make everything by hand. So I’m trying to do other things as well as my small batch clothes. I’m not really trying to make a huge operations here since my things aren’t really scalable. So I’m trying to do more content based work with my online shop to make a living. You just have to find out what works for you and what your goal is for income and find a balance for yourself.
@ thank you for responding. I appreciate your honesty. It is hard to make a living in the fashion industry. But your talent stands out. I like the idea of sustainable fashion. But you are right, it can’t be mass produced thus hard to make money. The jeans you made are so unique and flattering. I saw a lot of comments for liking them. Maybe have a designer jeans line for vintage jeans? The modern jeans are cheaply made and without good style, mostly targeting younger consumers. But a lot of more sophisticated women like jeans you made.
