Then meeting Steven, not realising what's going on, all she sees is her husband acting like a completely different person while treating her like he never met her his entire life? That's gotta hurt. Neither personalities ever properly explained to her what's up with himself either. I think she only got a real sense of what's wrong from eavesdropping on his and Harrow's conversation, which is around when she changed her approach towards him. The "summon the suit" part of ep 2 was when she legitimately spoke to Steven as Steven and not Marc.
This episode really cemented the fact that Star Wars wasted Oscar Isaac’s talents. The scene where Marc transitions to Steven with no cuts and you can see his face change. Brilliant.
Well, Star Wars under Disney's leadership, yes. They didn't seem to be able to grasp the concept of Star Wars lol. (Except for trying to make a repeat of the original trilogy, but with new characters, and slapped on the "sequel trilogy" title lol)

Hmm in the comics marc stopped marlene(layla in the mcu)'s dad from killing bushman, but bushman killed him along with all the archiologists except marlene and one other guy, so marc.blamed it on himself for geting all deez ppl keeled because he stoped marlenes dad from killing bush man and proceeded to punch bushman.
Marc used to work as an assassin for a guy named bushman. Marc was to kill a group of archeologists (one of them was Layla's father) but refused to do so. bushman killed the father and almost killed Marc. Marc, who was dying, somehow got to Khonshu's temple and Khonshu saved him, turning him into moonknight. Now, Marc has to repay his debt to the bird for saving his life.
It’s definitely possible, but Marc seemed surprised at both Steven having a violent side and the existence of a third identity, so I think it was Marc himself.
The only thing that bothered me with this episode was how Marc assumed Steven killed all those people even though he should know by now that Steven couldn’t fight to save his life let alone kill someone. I mean fair enough it’s not like he knew about Jake so there isn’t anyone else it could’ve been.

Even though I personally didn't like this episode of Moon Knight (still liking the show so far), the interactions Steven had with Marc or Khonshu or Layla was quite captivating. Also, I know some people will find it weird that Layla is falling in love with the Steven Grant personality inside of Marc, but I couldn't stop being charmed by their chemistry. I have officially dubbed them as "Stayla" (original, I know). Also also, can we give a big round of applause to Maya Calamaway as Layla El-Faouly?? Beautiful and badass! Plus, if I was Star-Lord, and Marc said to me "Are we dancing right now, or are we fighting? What are we doing?", I'd be crushed.
Can we all agree that layla has eyes for Steven? Or is that just me cuz I feel like she was alot more ok being with Steven but is constantly arguing with Marc.
That's because there's barely any communication between her and Marc. She doesn't even know half the shiz that's going on lmao. But her and Steven are a sweet duo, not romantically though. I hope she and Marc find a way to get back on track because I honestly feel really bad for her, and same for Marc who is trying to protect her. Let's just wait for the future episodes to see if their bond gets stronger.
I kinda wonder if she will be with both of them or like leave Marc and go to steven. I know both of those options are weird but there seems to be some kind of connection between Marc and layla. Even though I personally didn't like this episode of Moon Knight (still liking the show so far), the interactions Steven had with Marc or Khonshu or Layla was quite captivating.
Also, I know some people will find it weird that Layla is falling in love with the Steven Grant personality inside of Marc, but I couldn't stop being charmed by their chemistry. I have officially dubbed them as "Stayla" (original, I know).
Also also, can we give a big round of applause to Maya Calamaway as Layla El-Faouly?? Beautiful and badass!

Can we all agree that layla has eyes for Steven? Or is that just me cuz I feel like she was alot more ok being with Steven but is constantly arguing with Marc.
That's because there's barely any communication between her and Marc. She doesn't even know half the shiz that's going on lmao. But her and Steven are a sweet duo, not romantically though. I hope she and Marc find a way to get back on track because I honestly feel really bad for her, and same for Marc who is trying to protect her. Let's just wait for the future episodes to see if their bond gets stronger.
I kinda wonder if she will be with both of them or like leave Marc and go to steven. I know both of those options are weird but there seems to be some kind of connection between Marc and layla. I don't know if that's just me but I think there is something. Or I am completely wrong and Steven is just a friend and Layla just thinks he is adorable.
