Absolutely! Both Ernie and I loved that book. We just finished "A Town called Solace" by author Mary Lawson. You may want to check it out.

My struggle is my wife has been retired receiving SS for 3 years while im still (slaving) working. She's gone constantly while i work. I could retire this year @ 65. We both could be home at 65 which would be awesome and am truly waiting for this. However, as i pay 97 % of the bills its stressful on me because i feel i should work 1 more year 🤢 Both have 401k's etc ... and we could slowly tap into that. I feel so alone sometimes as i work from home on a computer. She's out with friends while there i am "chained" to my chaor LOL.
I feel just the prep for retirement is stressful enough
Should i retire at 65, or work 1 more year?

I think you would regret retiring right at age 65. It seems like you need 6 more months of preperation. During those 6 months of additional worktime set-up a retirement budget with your wife. I think you're going to feel so much more confident and better about your finanancial situation once everthing is on paper. I went through the same thing and did experience some bumps in the road, but it all worked out. By making March 31, 2025, as your target retirement date winter will be done and you'll have the best months of the year to start enjoying your new found freedom with your wife. Good luck and thank-you for sharing your story!

My wife and I are still at least four years away from our respective retirements; your videos are giving me some good ideas to share with my better half. Thank you both!
